Oh God, my heart broke with these three words - "Clever little bastard.” Without any more than that, I knew it was Zelenka. Beautifuly done!

Author's Response: Aww, thank you! I'm glad you realized, as I was trying to put in a couple clues before I outright mentioned Zelenka.

You showed Rodney's depression quite well. A silent Rodney screams "something is very wrong". And the aimless wandering on the planet caused by two people working on auto-piolot hurt my heart.

Author's Response: Thank you. I'm glad I got Rodney right, as I think there are many ways he could be while grieving, and this is just one. It's the one I believe, but not necessarily the right one. Auto-pilot is exactly how I see them both reacting, especially with the additional strain of their relationship falling apart.

Oh god. The email from Radek just killed me. It was so perfectly him, and so perfectly devastating.

Author's Response: Thank you! I was trying really hard to nail his character down to an email, and I'm glad I seemed to.

Wow...Now you've given me an idea for a story but I doubt it'll reach your

Author's Response: Oh, thank you! I'm glad to inspire, but I highly doubt mine is really such a high standard.

Wow. You broke my friggin' heart. Zelenka's too damned adorkable to die. But the way you wrote how it broke Rodney, and John as well from being so close to Rodney, was just so... so... totally heartrending. Really put the screws on my emotions with this one. Exquisite in its pain, and yet the hope and measure of joy the two men manage to gain after so long in mourning is just... bittersweet. I love how you had Rodney imagining Radek cackling with his hair all askew (like it always was/is). ----}-@

Author's Response: Aw, thank you. I can easily imagine Radek cackling if the two did somehow end up together, like some benevolent all seeing hyena. This was my first SGA fic, and I was nervous about characterization, but hopefully I got them right.
