That was sooooooooooo sweet. I wish I had a John Sheppard! Or THE John Sheppard would be much better!

Hehe, okay even when John sent the email, I so didn't see the end coming. I love that John tells Rodney he loves him and doesn't want him to be anyone else. So sweet! Thanks for sharing this, it made me smile! :)

Author's Response: Not everyone can appreciate Rodney, but John knows good stuff when he sees it!

Nasty of John, but all for a good cause,eh? I'm glad it worked out for the boys and John's right, Rodney needs someone who'll love him for him. Sweet story and I'm glad for the happy ending. Pity the girls couldn't appreciate the truth behind what they had, they had to know all were hiding behind a mask. Thanks for a good story and a big smile.

Author's Response: Thank you! I think this is a great use of John's devious side. He's really just looking out for Rodney, eh? ;)

Wow! Intelligent writing. A first time story just the way I like them. Lots of humour and angst. Great! Please feel free to delight us with more of your stories.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for your kind words! I'm glad it pleases.

Cucumber sandwiches! Oh my goodness! What a shame you didn't manage to fit in the line 'a HANDBAG?'! If you've only seen the 1952 film, then I highly recommend the more recent version with Colin 'Mr Darcy' Firth, Rupert Everrett, Dame Judi Dench and Reese Witherspoon. It's fantastic! And as for the plot not turning out the same way - I think we all know that Mr Wilde would definitely approve of your version...

Author's Response: Oh, yes, I imagine Mr. Wilde would have preferred Algie and John to end up together. ;) And Cecily and Gwendolyn do make a nice couple, too. I had heard that the more recent film isn't as good, but on your recommendation I'll definitely see it!
