Oh, this hurt. I'd love to be able to be angry with Rodney for hurting John so much- and John crying, even one tear, shows just how much he's hurting when he usually internalises so much. But Rodney's reasons, his own pain at walking away, make it impossible to be angry with him, only sad that he feels this is the only option :(. Laura.

Author's Response: The blame for this can be put on the Airforce anti-homosexual stance, evil Airforce. Poor Rodney felt he had no choice. I have written a second chapter fr John's POV and hopefully it will posted soon.

okay I just read my review and I find it disturbingly ironic that I described John as a clown when he doesn't like clowns (shudders) you know what I mean he hides his feelings so well sometimes... :)

*crys* you had me at this, " He stares into the Colonel’s tearful eyes." there is just something wrong with him having tearful eyes, it just show how much it hurt him b/c Sheppard is such clown and easy-going guy at times nice heart-wrenching story

Author's Response: yup, poor Sheppard was heartbroken, thanks for your lovely review
