Oh, I loved that. I loved how gentle John and Rodney were with each other.

Author's Response: Thank you! John needed Rodney just as Rodney needed John.

This was well written, especially how they helped each other through their personal issues, and it's rare to see a vulnerable side to John. Are you going to continue this????

Author's Response: Thanks, I'm glad the comfort came through. I wasn't planning to continue, but I'll think about it.

I thought this was a great story but i was a bit sad that it was not continuing on i would have liked it to go on to the next morning, it was really good.

Author's Response: Thanks! I thought about continuing but then decided it didn't matter as much what happened since they were facing it together (but I was thinking the team arrived in time).

A great story. I liked that John trusted Rodney enough to tell him the story of being raped. That was difficult to read, but I loved that you didn't shy away from the details and John was incredibly brave to keep silent, both during and after the rape. I loved Rodney's anger on John's behalf and I loved how they helped each other out for the coming ritual. It was hot, but also very sweet with how much care they were both taking. And it ended on the optimistic and hopeful note of them being there to help each other through whatever happened. Laura.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your comments! I really appreciate you pointing out so many of the things that worked for you. I'd hoped it was clear that their strength -- both individually and together -- could overcome the past and whatever they might have to deal with in the future (although I think their team will return in time).

Interesting, there are so many Rodney victims with Shep comforting him, and so few the other way around. It's nice to see the switch. Good work(^_^)

Author's Response: Thanks! I definitely go for tormenting Sheppard. ;)

Intense! It's a good story, a bit sad there a bit and hot toward the end. I do kind of wish to know if they'd gotten rescued in time, but I think your chose of ending fit the theme you were going for. Very intense and well done. Thank you for sharing.

Author's Response: I'm glad you thought the ending fit (though I have faith in their team, I liked leaving it open). Thanks for your comments. :)
