Great story. It made a change to see that the trouble John got into wasn't actually his fault *g*. I'm glad the boys were ok though. Great team dynamics especially John and Rodney's teasing, snarking banter. It was typical of Rodney, hiding his concern under his angry bluster, so it was great to see him really getting serious with Elizabeth, letting the worry for his friend and the determination to help him come out for Elizabeth to see. I was a little surprised by her conviction that John would be allowed back. I'd have to say it was a bit optimistic of her considering the general disapproval of John. I loved the 'prison break' and how it gave John just a little time to be with his friends doing normal stuff, being able to forget for a while without the infirmary there to remind him constantly. It was such a relief when he got feeling back, and even more so when he moved his toes. I had to grin at Teyla, Rodney and Ronon's avid watching. I liked the ending too, John's simple thanks, saying so much more than that :). Laura.

Author's Response: I'm so pleased you enjoyed it. I like the Sheppard/McKay banter in fics, too; it's wonderful to hear that I am getting my characters "right." Thanks for taking the time to let me know what parts of the story you liked.

That was soooooo sweet! I loved it! You captured the team dynamic perfectly! Humor, drama, angst...man you had the whole deal here! I was so happy when John was able to wiggle his toes, you really had me holding my breath. Props on a job well done!
