did he actually say what he meant to say or was it something totally different?

Author's Response: Do you mean Sheppard's "farewell" statement? I think he does consider what he does to be "fun" despite the danger, etc (or maybe because of it!) and part of that enjoyment is his team. Whether or not he knew he was quoting Kirk's dying statement... I think McKay is more the Star Trek affcionado. ;-)

What a good story! Nasty not-frogs, I can so identify w/ McKay's reaction. Poor John, what a wicked venom. Love the interaction at the end. Great job. Thanks.

Author's Response: The not-frogs seem to universally disliked. :-) I'm so pleased you enjoyed my story. Thanks for taking the time to leave me a review.

Excellent bit of H/C there :). Great team interactions too, especially Rodney's moaning. I had to chuckle at Rodney's leap into the water after the not-frog got him, but there was no such amusement when one got John :(. I thought John held it together remarkably well, considering. It was great that the team was there when he woke up, and I loved the final John/Rodney sleepy chat :). Laura.

Author's Response: I'm very, very happy that you enjoyed my story. The whole sensory deprivation thing just seemed like a wonderful way to whump Sheppard the control freak. Thanks for taking the time to drop me a review and let me know what you liked about the story.
