This was heartbreaking :(. John really hit the nail on the head too, about who to blame, and there really being no one person at fault. I loved how he never gave up trying to find Rodney and then how he just held him, never demanding an explanation, just offering comfort. I could see Rodney reacting to his grief in that way too, running from his friends and becoming more harsh when he couldn't avoid them- Radek's ice pack, for example. Very touching story. Laura.
