This is wonderful. Re-reading old stories, and this one I had to comment upon.

For some reason I've always been a big fan of second person...and this just proves why. FANtastic story! I loved all of the elements of John's emotions, and not to mention how hands down hot parts of it were.

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm so glad you liked.

I think the second-person pov worked here, really getting me inside John's head. Great job with his complexities, the doubts and fears, the determination and the love for Rodney, coupled with the guilt of not being able to tell him. Rodney's a genius though, so I'm sure he knows. Laura.

Author's Response: Thanks, dear. Seriously, have I mentioned how much I love your reviews? Because I do. You win.

I REALLY,REALLY LIKED THIS STORY. IT SEEMED TO ME TO BE THE PERFECT PERSPECTIVE FOR SUCH AN INTIMATE TELLING OF THIS RELATIONSHIP. IT'S NICE TO SEE A JOHN SO HUMAN AND UNSURE OF HIS OWN WORTH , AND SO MIRRORED BY RODNEY'S INNER SOUL. GREAT JOB!!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm really glad the format worked for you, and that you found this believable.

I have no words except Wonderful and that just doesn't do it justice.

I first spotted this on lj, but read it on wraithbait. I'm not a big fan of second person perspective, but I think it works well with this story and is well done. Thanks for sharing!

Author's Response: No, thank you for reading it even though you don't like second person. I know what a turn off that can be; I totally love you for reading anyway. So glad you liked!
