Just reread this, and it's still a damn good read. A great tag for one of my alltime favorite eps. Favorite line - "I have the best friends."

Wonderful fic. I fear I've lost a little of the nuances by not having seen the ep yet, but the central theme of love and trust still came through well. I loved Teyla's understanding, maybe getting it more than John. The idea that she was able to sense him a little was inriguing. And then there was Rodney and his scared babbling. It was so obvious how he felt and I was pleased that John caught on and that Rodney was able to quell the rest of the itch John was feeling. Much hotness too :). Laura.

This seems like a perfect end to the episode. John would so be buzzing with too much life-energy, and Teyla's connection to the Wraith doesn't get enough use on the show. Also, Rodney is so clearly in love with John it hurts.
