This made me grin for so many reasons. There's Rodney-the-slob getting crumbs all over the bed; his teasing of John and John's pavlovian response; the sudden realisation that he *could* design an orbital defence platform; and the equally sudden realisation that they'd better get dressed before Elizabeth arrived :). Laura.

Author's Response: It a cascading series of unthinking foolishness on their part, isn't it? *g* John and Rodney, at heart, are age 12.

I enjoyed this very much! It's a funny, sweet little slice-of-life piece. And the cheese nips crumbs are a great motif! Bravo!

Author's Response: Thank you. I find I finish this story wishing for a dustbuster. I can't tell you how many people want Elizabeth to catch them.
