Ooh, nice. Definitely a good choice to have all the senses represented. I particularly liked Smell -- so true, what the different scents of sweat can tell you. Good job.

Author's Response: *Tips hat* Thank you kindly!

Well firstly, cookies for druidspell for wanting the whole set of senses :). These were all great little ficlets with a good grasp of John and how he would react to suddenly being back on Earth. Laura.

Author's Response: Thanks! Every once in a while I like to try to get inside John Sheppard's head. It's a kind of scary place, for a number of reasons, but it's always an interesting experience ^_^

Oh Valen that is... so frelling good. SO GOOD. I mean, I can feel it with him, the loneliness, the isolation and... that intangible feeling of the world being shifted towards the wrong end of the spectrum. The craving for home, where you fit. Damnit, that is a good fic. I'm glad you did the entire spectrum there, it really emphasised everything.

Author's Response: I'm glad that it worked so well for you. I wanted to try to capture the fact that the loss of Atlantis isn't so much a conscious pain as an unconscious one. Kind of like clinincal depression isn't just wanting to sleep, but can also be a sore shoulder or knee that you'd never think to associate. Thanks for the lovely review ^_^
