I don't know how I feel about this was very...weird...unusual...strange. I'm confused.

Author's Response: I had to go back and read it...have received a few reviews on in the past few days and I'm wondering what's dredging this fic back up. LOL! I was in a bit of an experimental phase style-wise at this point. I think part of the problem with this fic is that I combined two bunnies that weren't going anywhere, which worked at first before what people are labeling as "the dark turn" came about. Threw some off (threw ME off, truthfully), others liked it, and I didn't see it as anything as dark of a turn as the reader did, so there's probably a whole perception thing going on. I can say that the writing itself needed WORK and I should have held on to that one a bit longer before posting it, but I was sick of looking at it. I've learned better since (barely). LOL! Thanks for giving it a shot, I appreciate it!rnrnKam : )

Well, this started off weird, but funny. The banter throughout was great; very John and Rodney :). And then it unexpectedly got darker. Still bizzare, still with the banter, but suddenly they were being hurt and Lorne was in shock and his men were all dead. That was quite a kick in the head, not something I had expected from the tone of writing up to that point and all the more hard hitting for it. And then we find that Alistar was in on it from the start! So yes, wierd, bizzare, funny and saddening all in one. Laura.

Author's Response: Yeah, seems to have affected a lot of people that way. I'm glad, I think. LOL! I didn't realize the ending would have that sort of impact, that's what I get for thinking. *winks* Thank you very much for the review!!

Well, this was all fun and games until the punch in the gut. Wow. Ouch, unexpected and terrible. Ummm, but perfect banter and completely insane situation. Great, as always!

Author's Response: Thank you! I tell you, I didn't think it was as much of a punch in the gut, but others apparently think so. I was so worried about the humor getting across, and have been staring at this document, I think I numbed myself to it. I'm like you liked it, thanks!
