This is hands down one of my favorite fan fics of all time. Not just SG:A FF but all fandoms that I read in and that is a lot of them. A great story idea and just enough angst and detail to make is so very real and possible.

Wow, this was amazing -- easily one of the best fics I've ever read. My heart was pounding during most of it. Thank you SO much for sharing!

This was a great story. I like the background on Sheppard. even though it was dark, depressing and he was put through the ringer (gotta love it). THe friendship between Sheppard and Carson and then Shep and McKay was great. Nice job.
I can certainly see why this is one of your favourites. Physical whumping is great, but emotional whumping has that extra something, I guess because it's so much harder to fix. I was glad that John didn't let it beat him and that he had his friends looking out for him, though I was saddened by Elizabeth's disregard for Carson's warnings and the evidence before her own eyes. It was satisfying to have Kavanagh taken down a few pegs and it was also great to see Rodney being such a good sport about losing, being willing to accept that there could be people better than himself at something ;). I'm glad Radek clued him in though and made him more aware of why John was in the state he was. Such a sad and traumatic, and pretty senseless, tragedy for John all those years ago, and making him ID the bodies was just cruel. Thank heavens he trusted Carson with the whole story. I liked the ending too, with John finally feeling able to play again. Laura.
