A very interesting take on the MENSA-verse, and well done. I'd love to read more if you ever feel the urge ^_^

Oh I liked that and it's not depressing at all! Poor John, hearing all that stuff and realizing it's true. How about a sequel where they work on John's social skills?

Author's Response: Yes, I do intend to write a sequel, but I just don't know what to write at the moment - the muse is off working on other things. Glad you didn't think it was depressing - the ending was supposed to be full of hope, and the beginning was meant to be mildy humourous.

Wow that was so unbelievably depressing. Poor AU John. And at Christmas time, too. Rod seemed like such a nice guy; why would he bring someone he didn't really like to his family? This story made me tear up, but not in a happy way.

Author's Response: I'm sorry you thought it was depressing. Rod is a nice guy - too nice and a bit creepy and slimey in te episode. The answer to your question is in the story - John would be alone otherwise, Rod likes him - but is very aware of his fault, Rod has seen 'our' John and hopes a trip to Jeannie's might change him somehow. Of course he's right, but he wouldn't have chosen such a brutal manner. And I thought the ending was full of hope... but at least it elicted some kind of strong emotional response from you - even if not a happy one!

Oooh. I'd really like to read more of this. I enjoyed what i've read so far.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! A few others on LJ have also requested a sequel, so I'll see what I can do. It'll be a little while however as the muse that helped me write this has gone on holiday and left the crazy!AU muse in her place!
