this is really good and I can't wait to see how they integrate themselves with their future selves.
Now I have to ask is there any hope for a follow up with a confrontation with the Genii/Koyla and the 2 Johns and 2 Rodney's? Wonderful story thanks for sharing it!
Summary: McKay ducked, and the wall exploded into rubble.

now that was really cool and original. It would be awesome if you could work this up into a small series?
The expedition left for Atlantis without Rodney McKay, but two years later, he catches up to them.

Is there any chance that you might do more chapters from this particular AU? Like maybe snapshots of what happened in that world before and after Rodney got there? How did everyone die? How did John manage to unite so many people? How did Koyla kidnap him? Do they ever get back to earth? I would love to see more from this.
John makes a rather uncommon experience in Antarctica. In a storage closet, where else?

Now this is really interesting. I honestly can't wait to see what McKay dreams up next and how John reacts.

this was just beautiful. It was well written and completely believable on how John had made it that far in life as a virgin. Thank you for both writing this and sharing it with us.
Author's Response: Thank you so very much - I'm thrilled that you found the story believable.

This is rather interesting and very well written. I am very curious to see how he will need to use his childhood trama to help Atlantis. hope to see more soon.
"He didn’t smile and he didn’t laugh, but if you listened hard enough you might be able to hear his silent screaming." That line just gives me chills.

great chapter but I've a question or two. Why doesn't John lead him back to the lab or type out what happened on a computer? Is he really limited in his brain functions like Carson surmised?
Chapter 2: Chapter One - Paw Deep in Trouble
This is originally written as McShep, but it could be any slash pairing. -- Rodney reaches a stage of grief where tears are not of use anymore...

Is there any chance that you might continue this? Maybe go into more about Johns past and more about why Daniel and O'Neill are in Atlantis instead of Weir? Please? It's a really great story and AU thanks bunches for sharing it.
Rodney is a college professor & John runs a flying school.

Great story but I have to ask where on Livejournal was this challenge posted? I'm sure I'm looking right over it but I can't seem to find it. Thanks for any help on this.
Author's Response: I\'m glad you enjoyed it. You can find the other stories here: http://community.livejournal.com/atlantisbasics/22657.html

John doesn't go inside until his teeth are chattering, until he's so cold he can't remember the heat of a body pressed close in his arms, what blood feels like on his skin.
