Dang but that was beautifully written. Even knowing the end I still arrived at the last sentence with tears in my eyes.
Author's Response: You are most welcome. Lying there, she must have had so many thoughts about the people around her, especially Rodney and John.
Summary: It made no sense that Rodney should want that particular penguin. John slid where Rodney preferred to walk, burning his energy like he might be missing something. John didn't squawk, he
drawled, and he'd never shown any interest in the stars Rodney studied every night.

Sqauwk! Have you *seen* "Happy Feet"?
This is way, way better!
Author's Response: Uh, no, everyone told me that movie sucked, so I didn't watch it. I saw March of the Penguins, though. :)
Chapter 1: Antarctic Drift
Summary: Everyone seemed to believe he was dead. Well, everyone except for Rodney, and John was starting to wonder if maybe Rodney was wrong on this one.

Nice! Really, really nice and spot-on for voice! *Applauds*
Author's Response: Why, thank you! :D
John is a Slave who ends up the property of one Dr Rodney Mckay
Warnings: Non Con, abuse, rape, bondage and all sorts of possible other things. Some good, some not so good.

Okay, this is Mills and Boon trash at it's worst...and I love it! Intriguing AU, nicely detailed and the characters read well.
Can't wait for the next bit! :D
Author's Response: What is Mills and Boon trash? Is this a good thing to be?
Whoops, sorry! Mills and Boon are a British publishing house famed for their output of H/C, angst-laden romances aimed squarely at a female readership. So of course the male critics rubbished them as only fit for "minority" reading (this was in the 70's) while the label outsold other "worthier" reads. Many a journeyman author got their first taste of print with them and they are still going. I think they own "Harlequin" in the US but I don't know if they cater to the same readership. Now that we're in the naughty 'oughties they have an XXXX-rated label "Black Lace" which is still aimed at us gals but is rather raunchier.
Anyway , to clarify it was intended as a compliment, not an insult, given the H/C content.
So awaiting the next bit with anticipation as John needs to have his epiphany soon as otherwise he will find himself with a Spunky!Virginal and *Vengeful*Rodney and it will all end in tears.
Uh, please ignore the last half of the last sentence. Am awaiting next part keenly, honest, but I had two windows open and was reviewing another story and forgot which one I was typing in. Spunky!Virginal Rodney appears in "Love's tangled web" elsewhere in WB, sorry.
Author's Response: No worries, I am reading that one as well and tend to agree with you. John is walking on a ledge he don't even know about. I can't wait to see what happens next.
Rodney is horny, John teases & snark ensues.

Delicious. I *so* liked the Rodney stream-of-oh my God he's wearing them-consciousness! Especially the bit about not licking them-well maybe, just a little. Poor Rodney, he's really gone, isn't he?
Author's Response: LOL Thank you - I actually liked the licking comment myself - it seemed so him. (I know I shouldn't compliment my own fic but it almost feels like it was Rodney writing it! *g*)
without John and Atlantis, she doesn't know who she is and that should scare her. (for the SW'06 ficathon)

Nicely observed piece, ties in well with canon.
He *is* annoying isn't he? :D
Chapter 1: the loves you had left
John has an epiphany... well, f**k!
Updated: 04 Jan 2007; Published: 04 Jan 2007
Nice! very,very nice!
And bloody-well written to hold John in character through his *epiphany*!
Author's Response: What a wonderful compliment - thank you! :-)
So, two guys walk into a bar...

Wow! ..and still wow. Both smack on in character, the dialogue zips along in the best of snarky ways, and it's intelligent banter, unlike some authors who have Rodney calling John "baby"...*shudders*. Love the recurring motif and the reason why.
Delightful. Thank you :)
Author's Response: Thank you :)
Summary: She's the consummate diplomat, Elizabeth Weir, but what little information he could find never said where she's been the past three years, nor why she behaves like a combat veteran in a room full of Gotham socialites.
Batman Begins crossover. Elizabeth Weir/Bruce Wayne.

Fascinating idea. Glad someone is writing interesting stuff for Lizzie, 'cos TPTB surely don't...:D
Author's Response: Tell me about it. I wish they\'d do more for her as a character. (Don\'t even get me started on what I\'ve heard about next season.) But I\'m glad you enjoyed this!
It's always dark when John comes into Rodney's room.

Nice (though not in the obvious sense) vignette. They're really in trouble if Rodney has to be the sensitive one, aren't they?
He couldn't help it, thinking of what a ridiculous sight the three of them must make, and he began to laugh. Radek stopped trying to wriggle from under him as he started to laugh, deep, full whoops of unrestrained hilarity. On the floor, John's head pressed against one of Carson's thighs, his shoulders shaking with nearly silent laughter, as if he couldn't get air enough to make more noise.

Well then, porn-battle's loss is our gain!
Author's Response: Glad you liked it!
That was the big one, echoing through his brain, bouncing from one part of his skull to the other.
He'd possibly freaked out a little, okay maybe more than a little, because Rodney
was the calm and cool voice offering reasonable statistics about radiation
and there was something really fucked up about that.

Oh dear! Wonderfully warm, funny and hot.
I don't know where you got the idea (direct to website? Puh-lease?)but it was stunning. And of course, it had to be John!
Written for the porn battle. The prompt was John, alone. References to "McKay and Mrs. Miller."

the dirtiest fucking heaven...
Yep. that covers it. :D
Aliens made them all do it. OT4 fic.
"Hours?" Oh, God, John couldn't do this, even if Rodney was making noises no man should make, and Ronon's hands were under the table, and John was not seeing this, he was not--

*is ded of teh hotness*
Author's Response: Thank you!!
Rodney realizes the military has shorted the Atlantis expedition.
Updated: 13 Apr 2007; Published: 06 Mar 2007
Oh my! That's just so, so Rodney! Full on fast forward, leaving eceryone else with their jaws swinging.
Author's Response: Hee. The chance to write Rodney\'s dialogue and John\'s twisty mind is the reason to write SGA fanfic.
Chapter 1: Breeding Ground
Jolly Rancher's watermelon candies have no citric acid, and instead get their tartness from a chemical derived from sour apples.

Nice. just really sweet and nice! :D
She is beautiful, shadows painting mosaics on her skin, her shivers making them move, shadow-puppets that tell the tale.
Updated: 19 Mar 2007; Published: 19 Mar 2007
So in the fifth year of the expedition, which isn't even technically an expedition anymore since Elizabeth wrote a Declaration of Independence
, which Sheppard will never, ever stop finding absolutely hilarious, Sheppard's still following the guidelines.

Lovely! Just ...nicely understated.
You didn't link yo the colony!verse fic - is it here? (Can't see it.) :D
Author's Response: It\'s on wraithbait, yeah - just go to my profile and they should all be listed. \"Streets in a World Underneath it All\" is the primary story thus far, and \"Five Things Elizabeth Will Never Tell\" as well as \"Know the Sun Will Rise\" are additional bits and pieces.
