I somehow missed this during the ficathon. Very fun! I always wondered why the Atlantis mission didn't bring a few crates full of zats with them.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm still working my way through all the stories, to be honest. I'm really glad you liked this! And my personal feeling on why they didn't get zats? Some idiot got it into his head that the Atlantis mission was one-way, and thought it would be a waste of money. Hopefully, Elizabeth saw to it that whoever that idiot was, he or she was fired the instant she got back to Earth at the start of season two.
