Sheppard has this friend, see? And this friend really really likes a certain Scottish doctor... And there's fluff, both real and metaphorical.

Awww! so sweet, and adorable Sheppard, helping Aiden scout out Carson. And the plushy sharp toothed bunny! | loved this in more ways than I can count, and it's not even (one of) my OTPs. Matter of fact, it's the first Aiden/Carson fic I've ever read! Fabby.
Author's Response: Hehe, not my OTP either, actually. But it was a secret santa sort of challenge and that was the request I got. I do say, though, I enjoyed writing the wee bit of fluff.
Chapter 1: Sheppard's Friend
Rodney is too far gone for control, but not too far gone to care.

Beautiful and painful and sad. Please, write a sequel!
John comforts Teyla over the death of Charin. Missing Scene Challenge from STF
Updated: 24 Jan 2006; Published: 24 Jan 2006
Very moving. I love how John was keenly aware that even as he tried to comfort Teyla, he couldn't give her time to grieve, time to just be Teyla and not the Athosian leader. And his insistence that she be on that last jumper, opening himself up and showing her that he did care without actually having to say it. A beautiful piece of pre-ship.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for such wonderful feedback! It's rare that someone takes the time! And I'm so glad that you really understood what I was attempting to convey with this piece! You can read more of my work at http://sanssong.ink-and-quill.com
During a training mission for the new personnel, someone tries to kill Sheppard. Warnings for language and violence.

Well that's the kind of cliff hanger (end Chapter six) I don't think I can complain about. Ooh, intense! I can't wait to find out who the baddie is - and then what Ronon, Teyla and Rodney are going to do them for hurting poor Sheppard.
Author's Response: Hi, Huggle! Sorry I'm so late getting to your review. It really gave me a warm, fuzzy feeling as I try to beat this Writer's Block. Thanks for taking the time! JJ
John hurts. Rodney comforts. McKay/Sheppard slash.

Sweet. It's rare to find a John / Rodney story that doesn't have the two of them in bed at some point (and I know they end up in bed here but not IN bed if you see what I mean). I love stories where one is leaning on the other and it's rare to see John lean on Rodney. I love that Rodney knows he needs to be careful around John, because his love of fast dangerous things outweighs his sense of self-preservation and you pegged that Rodney is as much an expert on John as he is on Wormholes. And John snuggling into Rodney...so cute. That was lovely.
Chapter 1: Chapter 1 of 1
She won't let John come to the fights. (Rating is for violence)
Updated: 04 Apr 2006; Published: 04 Apr 2006
Very powerful. There aren't enough stories out there that show Teyla's skills in combat - she's pretty lethal and I think that while she loathes killing, she will do it to protect herself and those she cares about. You portrayed her excellently in this story; it was moving and it made me hurt for all three of them, but Teyla especially. Let's hoping John can make her better.
In which John has a cut, Rodney is a hypochondriac, and Carson is sick.

Aw, so sweet. Nice switch having John take care of Carson for once, and Rodney extending his hypochondria to John!
An Ancient device transforms McKay into a man-cat, yes, with fur and a tail, etc.

Rodney as a cat - you'd think he'd love it but I guess not. Poor Rodney! And poor John, they can't be together now until Rodney gets turned back. I hope we get a chance to see Rodney putting his new feline abilities to good use! Looking forward to the next part.
Author's Response: Thank you very much for your feedback :-)More soon.
AU: Greenpeace Activist!Rodney & Lumberjack!John

"Yeah, it was nice. And now I'm gonna celebrate by devouring an innocent little pizza in a cruel and unusual way." John shrugged. "Maybe I'll even do it in front of you, seeing how you're helplessly chained to a tree. I'm evil like that."
Ha ha haaaaa! Oh, I loved that bit! Actually, I loved ALL of this. And then when Rodney, drops the key, and John leaves him, then feels guilty, and takes him inside the trailer, and guh!
And I love that Rodney was saving John and John didn't even know it. I felt awful when he got fired, and he had nowhere to go, but then he found out about Rodney, and went back up to the forest and then went with Rodney to the forest!Atlantis. Awesome, through and through.
Author's Response: Thank you! I just love fairy tales. :D
Instead, the traitorous piece of flesh is deciding to get... perky. Perky and hard and all too interested in the calloused fingers holding it still. He's embarrassed as all hell, because you know, it's Carson.
Updated: 15 Jan 2007; Published: 15 Jan 2007
Whew! That was really good and hot. I love how John's totally embarrassed but Carson talks him round. John's reaction, wondering if this is how Carson handles himself - I could see him thinking that. And leaning his head back on Carson's shoulder like that. Then Carson, all business, reminding John why he came in in the first place. Brilliant.
Author's Response: I'm tickled that you liked it! Since I try so hard to keep them in character, it is nice to know that I succeeded here. Thanks for letting me know!
To fly a Wraith hive ship, you must be a Wraith. Teyla learns how. Missing scene from Misbegotten.
Updated: 26 Jan 2007; Published: 26 Jan 2007
You really captured Teyla's predicament in this story: having to utilise her Wraith inheritance, a part of her that she is disgusted by. It's not as easy or pleasant for her as it is for John; he got the better side of the deal (even if the view of the Ancients has changed). He sort of got the Angel DNA and she got the demon DNA. And John doesn't have to tell Atlantis he is Ancient. Teyla has to let something unpleasant and vicious bubble up from inside herself every time she lets her Wraith side loose. The way she struggled to distance herself from her Wraith mindset after flying the ship was well explored; it reminded me of the S1 ep where she had the nightmare about feeding on John. But I love that he sort of brought her back with his presence and she wanted him to be there the second time, like he could keep her anchored. Powerful, and well-written. Thank you for sharing (and sorry for the rambling review, but this really got to me).
Weir and Sheppard end up on a sort of holiday, unintentionally. For melyanna
's birthday. I'm totally and shamelessly ripping off my own story "Zootopia."

That was great. I loved the way Sheppard cried, pined and scratched until he got into Rodney's quarters to be near to Elizabeth.
And Lorne so better hope that Sheppard doesn't remember the ball thing. Although I think Teyla will make him pay for it on Sheppard's behalf, next time she is sparring with him!
Chapter 1: Unexpected Vacation
Sometimes, John gets tired.

Oh, sweet. I love comfort fics, when they've just had enough and what they do and where they go. Everyone should have someone to go to and snuggle with, someone who can just make it alright for a while, and I'm so glad John has Ronon, and I'm even more glad that you shared this fic.
John does what he needs to do, as does Ronon. Sheppard/Ronon (within OT4). Spoilers for Miller's Crossing.
Updated: 17 Mar 2008; Published: 17 Mar 2008
I've never seen this episode, but I know mostly what happens in it, and you captured the emotions the team went through so perfectly, so painfully. I love OT4 fics, and Ronon taking charge because John needs to be grounded, to be taken and to be allowed to show that vulnerability was so spot on. I love any fic which has Ronon taking care of him, knowing what John needs, and this was so touchingly beautiful. You didn't overdo it either, dealing sparingly with what they were going through and how Ronon helped John deal, even at the sacrifice of his own anger. Superb.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I love that John and Ronon understand each other without having to talk it all out. :)
