All of my fiction (Sentinel and Atlantis) along with digital art and captioned photos (as well as a general information section for Atlantis fanfic writers)can be found on my website (see below).
The stories 'Camera Happy' and 'Ten Postcards' only appear on my website and LiveJournal as they are photo intensive. The story 'Red or Green' only appears on my website and LiveJournal as it is less than 100 words.
I am a thirty something with ME/CFS, married with no kids. I have previously been writing in another fandom (The Sentinel) and have now dipped my toe into Atlantis fiction, and got hooked!
Rodney's my favourite character by far, though I seem to be developing a soft spot for Radek as well! Guess I'm just a geek-lover! Though McKay would probably prefer me to leave him alone...my plot bunnies keep putting him in the infirmary...!
I write gen only, and write merely for the fun of it. I live in the UK, so am behind on any new seasons being shown in the USA (though not so much now I've discovered You Tube), and although I try to use American phrases, my spelling is British. Hope this will not offend or upset anyone.

The reactions to the masks are so in character - I especially love Rodney (!!) and John's reactions.
Author's Response: Thanks! ^_^ That sga_flashfic challenge was a hard one... darned stubborn Muses. *eyes PlotDragon with annoyance*
What if the Brits were in charge of the Stargate program? Would Atlantis be the same and how exactly would the off-world missions be conducted? Is it a prerequisite for a Scot to be their number one agent? Did someone say 007?

LOL!! Double-O-Beckett - me thinks someone has been watching too many Bond films - and I don't know if it's you, Carson or the plot bunnies!!! Very good!
Sometimes the trees are more important than the forest...

LOL! Oh yeah, go, go, go soft sciences!! And I love the last line!!! I can hear Rodney's teeth grinding from here!! (Let's hope he doesn't get revenge by assigning them the nasty jobs!)
Author's Response: *grin* I\'m glad you liked it! ^_^

Earth, air, fire, and water. (And out of the frying pan and into the fire.)

Very nice story - love the helium voices - nice touch! There's a SG1 songvid set to this song at www.hoodatlair.com which is very funny. Hope someone does a SGA version someday! I love the idea of Rodney singing it...LOL!
Author's Response: Thanks for the link to the vid! I hadn\'t known of its existence. It is a very funny song, and if you know it, it makes Rodney singing it even funnier.
So where did Ronon get the suit? The Big, Tall & Satedan shop at Colorado Springs Mall?
Updated: 01 Dec 2007; Published: 30 Nov 2007
LOL!! Love Teal'c's cryptic 'fifty or sixty years'! Nice idea.
Author's Response: Thanks! The idea popped into my head as soon as they mentioned a change of clothes for Ronon. :D
When Rodney's parents had said, "Just wait till you have kids of your own!" he'd never really understood. Till now.

ROTFL!!! Oh, poor Rodney!! I love it! Any chance of making it a series?! Please?!
Author's Response: I sort of have a plan about that. Thanks for letting me know that you enjoyed!
Project Atlantis is a top secret think tank located in the Pacific Northwest. Acastus Kolya, the project's second in command, has been using its resources for his own agenda, and now he's eager to play with his newest specimen - John Sheppard.

Wow! This was very, very good. I love how you have written everyone in character and yet placed them into a very different world - a very interesting world at that. I very much enjoyed this story.
Author's Response: And the world is expanding - getting LOTS of ideas. Unfortunately.... Sigh.
You know how everyone wanted to see the scene where Rodney found out about Teyla's pregnancy? This isn't it. It's sometime later...
Updated: 19 Jan 2008; Published: 19 Jan 2008
Nice - I like how Rodney is trying to do something nice for Teyla because he's trying to be better with people. I also love the last 2 paragraphs - lol! Oh, I wish I could see the look on Rodney's face ... guess I'll just have to imagine it!
Author's Response: thank you! And I think we\'ve seen in canon that Rodney is anxious about his poor people skills, and is earnestly trying to do better.
Atlantis POV. A Sunday drabble.
Updated: 31 Jan 2008; Published: 31 Jan 2008
Short but very powerful - and a nice idea to explain the end scene. I like the way you've written it, not from Atlantis' POV directly, but from another person talking to Atlantis. It adds to the poignancy of it. And I like that Atlantis misses Carson as well, and knows that Rodney won't ever be the same.
Just a silly bit of fluff inspired by the Shrek silliness at the beginning of Chapter 31 of "Untamed". Never have Keller and Teyla plan your costume....

ROTFL!!! Oh, poor (drunk) John!! And naughty, naughty girls!! That was very funny - and the picture at the end is really good! LOL!
Author's Response: Yeah, very bad girls. ;) Very SMART bad girls. And thanks - outta practice with people, been doing wildlife for the last 10 years (when the muse even SPEAKS to me). Good image to get back into practice with. ;D
John Recieves a Letter
Updated: 31 Mar 2008; Published: 31 Mar 2008
Wow! Because I can't bear the idea of Rodney being dead, I'm reading this as if he is in the process of writing it!!
But either way, it is so, so sad and so very much Rodney. This is the sort of letter he would leave. Excellent story.
Author's Response: Cheers hun. Glad you like it and I agree, Dead Rodney is bad.\r\n\r\nM xx
Is this Mission: Impossible for our boys? Spoilers for part of season four and beginning season five.

LOL! That was funny!! Very good!
Author's Response: I\'m glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for taking time to read my story and write a review. I appreciate it.

Sheldon Cooper makes even Kavanagh look like a paragon of friendly good will. (Big Bang Theory crossover.)

LOL!! I, too, love Sheldon but yeah, I can so see this!! You've got Rodney's POV down well (love the entrail painting - though also, ew!), and the last lines were perfect!
Author's Response: Heh, thank-you! I\'m glad to hear you liked it. ^_^
A short piece with Zelenka and McKay. Yes, you should know your staff.

Author's Response: yeah, if i ever get around to writing it! Glad you liked it!

Beckett had made a difficult decision.
Updated: 12 Aug 2012; Published: 12 Aug 2012
Ooh, hard decision, especially for someone like Carson. *hugs him* Nicely done.
Author's Response: Thanks for your kind words!
