I recently re-read this and again admired this story for the masterpiece that it is. I cried, a rare thing in reading fic. I also liked your OFC very much - again rare. This is the Rodney I wanted so much when those arrogant idiots slammed him so much, and then just took a pass on their mistakes. I think your John was good at the end. In my mind, it's a *long* time before Rodney totally forgives him. Thanks for a great story.

As a mad fan of Lord Peter, Bunter, Freddie Arbuthnot, Harriet et al, I absolutely squeed at the thought of a LPW version of SGA. Strong Poison is one of the best of the LPW novels imo - and well translated here. I love your Rodney and John and their sleuthing together. Your use of Lorne (and Parrish - yay!) was superb and I keep thinking I want you to do Gaudy Night. *begs shamelessly* Utterly delish and definitely saved for further reading pleasure. Cheers!
