I'm not really a cat. I couldn't type properly if I had paws.
You know, other people played a role in the Wraith dematerializer incident too. At least Rodney does. Post Duet Kate Heightmeyer piece.

Wow, someone wrote Kate fic! And it relates directly to her work as a psychologist, *and* it doesn't involve her solely reflecting other characters' words and actions for the purpose of the story. It's hard to characterize a psychologist mid-therapy, but we've gotten strong indications on the show of Kate's personality, not just her work persona, and it's nice to see someone exploring that side of her, and how it meshes with the work she does. Thanks!
Author's Response: Thank you! It's nice to know that I hit what I was shooting for and I very much appreciate you noting what I tried to do. I personally am a fan of Kate's character and I do agree with you that a lot of her personality was revealed in the few episodes she's appeared in. Also if you're interested you should check out something else Heightmeyer related I did. ^_^ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LqB5_bvuGgc

Thank you for writing this lovely piece on Kate. She's one of my favorite characters, despite not having enough screen time. I love how you've acknowledged the difficulty of the job she does, and how she's not always viewed in the most positive light (and the acceptance that it's part of the job).
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it! ^_^

I'm very much enjoying this series. Thanks for writing it, and I really love the focus on Elizabeth.
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm having a lot of fun writing it.
Very nice so far, but I do have one question about a line in the story:
"Earth's been completely lost to the Replicators," Ronon reminded him firmly. Turning around, he leaned back on the chair lazily. "And the Replicators fight Wraith, so we let 'em. Any chance to diminish the number of Wraith in the galaxy is one we have to take."
Um, what's then going to happen to the billions of humans on the other planets in the galaxy? Or did the Asurans kill them off too? I may have missed that in the fic.
Author's Response: I don't think I've mentioned the other humans in the galaxy. Currently the assumption I have is that the other billions of humas are still alive because the Replicators wouldn't know exactly where they were and wouldn't have the same grudge against them.
Letting the Replicators fight the Wraith seemed like a good idea to me because Pegasus Replicators don't seem to gain in numbers in the same way as Milky Way Replicators.
Chapter 16: uphill battle
She loved her job, but there was just something about fucking Jack O'Neill until she felt ready to pass out that she could not get enough of.

Why have I never left feedback for this before now? Mmm. I love this story. Jack/Lizzie. There's never enough!
Author's Response: Thanks! Glad you liked!

Author's Response: No, no, thank you. This was great fun, and I\'m glad you enjoyed it, too.

Um. Please feel totally free to delete this review, but I figured I should point out you accidentally named the fic "miera" instead of "Vacation," and only the chapter name is "Vacation."
Author's Response: *headdesk*\r\n\r\nThanks. I\'ve fixed that now.

This looks good! I read part one, noticed it was an eight-parter, and am going to wait until all eight parts are up to read.
