Wow, I haven't seen a Mary Sue laid on this thick in ages, at least not outside of FF.net! The Catie-Allana thing made me throw up a little in my mouth, but I thought, hey maybe it's a fluke. Then the ham-handed "We've gots the magical telepathy, duuuh!" scene. Then don't even...with the "People who save the President get to do whatever floats their boat, even on a mission run by an international oversight consortium"... could you *possibly* cram more Mary Sue-isms in this? Will she get a magic unicorn pony, too, and gain the ability to fly after heroically saving the Magic Faery People of M3T-921? And of course, Ronon will fall madly in love with her after she easily kicks his butt with her UltraSuperBlackBelt in Sekrit Ninja Fu!
Author's Response: Congratulations - you have just p***ed off the normal, polite people of the world, I'm sick of the insulting, negative, not even constructive criticism from a select few on Wraithbait. I have decided to stick to my other fandom site to finish this story, at least the people there aren't suffering from delusions of grandeur - who do you think you are, an oscar winning writer? This is my little bit of escapism I enjoy whilst laying in bed waiting for the tumour to eat me alive.
THANK YOU WRAITHBAIT AND GOODNIGHT!!
Five years after Atlantis, John and Rodney meet someone interesting. No spoilers, suspense plot element to follow.

Usually, I'm not impressed with original characters - they're rarely well written and often stink of Mary Sue - but I like this gal! Nice story, interesting character, definitely looking forward to more.
Author's Response: Thank you! I hope Catherine continues to exceed your expectations! Thanks for reading.
"Colonel John Sheppard knew, from the moment he first met Dr Rodney McKay, that the man would be trouble."
This novel-length story is set entirely in an AU where bisexuality and consensual BDSM are the cultural norm. It is a prequel to my story "General & Dr Sheppard" but you don't have to have read that to read this.

I loved these two in General & Dr Sheppard and getting the scoop on how they ended up in that relationship is an unexpected gift! Great writing, as usual; may your muses continue to inspire you.
Author's Response: Thanks so much!
Chapter 1: Chapter One - Trouble With a Capital 'T'

Completed? *Completed?* *sigh* You are such a tease.... And don't Henry just fit in with Atlantis soooo well? :) Nice piece!
Chapter 1: Second Chances
John challenges Rodney to a game of Cat and Mouse - Atlantis style - Rodney enlists Ronon's help.

This is hilarious and adorable and kinda hot. :) This is the kind of story I love - a slice of Atlantis life on the days where they aren't fighting for their lives, but just enjoying the fact that they're alive and well in the coolest city in two galaxies.
Author's Response: Yeah, I love all the action and danger of the 'saving the world' type stuff but it is nice to explore the quiet days too.
Thank you for the fb.
