I've only recently gotten into SGA. But I've been writing fanfic in Buffy/Angel, X-files, and Roswell for years! :) And I'm now a hugely obsessed McShep fan.
A midnight Jumper ride on New Year's Eve. Set directly after Grace Under Pressure. Can be read as a sort of sequel to my story, Guardian, if you squint. Guardian doesn't need to be read to read this fic, though.

oh, this was lovely and a little angsty and hot all at once. i've been looking for some good ronon/elizabeth fic and now i'm going to read all of yours! thanks so much.
Summary: Rodney has never viewed himself as a particularly self-sacrificing person, but standing in his burning city, watching the last jumper headed for the mainland take off into the night sky, he finds that what he feels is more relief than fear.

that was beautiful. i have a real thing for self-sacrificing rodney. and i love how you made him realize what his decision really meant afterward, that he wanted to fight for his life, even if he thought it was hopeless. and of course, i loved the mcshep ending. i can't help but picture john's broken expression when he thinks that rodney's gone for good. nicely done.
Author's Response: We got a nice glimpse of that expression in Tao of Rodney. No matter how much those two bicker, John just loves the guy. And Rodney\'s no quitter, so, yeah. Totally going down fighting. :)
Elizabeth was nothing if not adept at rechannelling her energy.

the way his thigh holster wrapped around him and drew attention to his crotch… It was Rodney’s daily treat -- this? Is awesome, lol. It's definitely a daily treat for us, so I'm sure it's one for Rodney, too :) Loved this. Sweet and angsty and I have a real thing for pining with a happy ending :)
Author's Response: Thank you! I just had to get the thigh holster in somewhere... I'm glad you enjoyed the pining and the happy ending.
It was lame. It was stupid. It probably wouldn't work, but Evan didn't see any reason not to try. Lorne/Parrish. Starving Artists AU #2

this was sweet, and i love the little bit of angst at the beginning :D
Author's Response: Thank you! I\'m glad you liked!

man, this had me teary almost all the way until the end. I love how John reveals himself - "if it had been *my* fantasy..." I felt so bad for Rodney the entire time, though. Very well done. I totally felt for him, and John too, when John started to get kind of desperate.
Author's Response: Thank you, I\'m so glad you enjoyed it! Poor Rodney...if only it weren\'t so much fun to do terrible things to him...
Chapter 1: A Rational Universe
A disgruntled minion hands Rodney an opportunity in disguise.

Aw, this was lovely and sort of heartbreaking for poor Rodney. I find myself thinking he does have some low self-esteem, though who wouldn't? He's right, he's bad with people and most don't like him. But he's trying! And he can't help it, lol. I love him and so does Sheppard, so I guess that's all that matters. :) Thanks for writing!
Rodney McKay can't lie. He really can't. He's lost entire fortunes playing poker because he can't keep from giving himself away.
So when he lies and tells his sister that he and John Sheppard are involved--he and the very straight John Sheppard--you know things are going to go terribly, horribly wrong.

awww! cute, but also I got a little teary when Rodney ran away from home! so sad!
Author's Response: I\'m glad you liked it. :)
Chapter 1: Mer and the Colonel
Carson assigns John a Marine and gives him strict instructions not to set foot outside his quarters.

This was adorable. I love dopey John and worried Rodney. The game sounds adorable too, as do John's dreams at the end :)
Author's Response: Thank you! The game really is adorable; I\'m glad it worked for you even though you\'re not familiar with it. :)
