Rodney's clothes count? Genius. Pure genius. *applauds* Thanks for a fun read!
After a mission gone wrong, Rodney McKay thinks about art, sport and his inability to understand either. -GEN VERSION-

Oh, please tell me there's more, because this fic is just so perfect and so great. You're a fantastic writer with an -amazing- command of the first person and such excellent characterizations. Like everyone else I cheered when Zelenka punched Kavanaugh. (Radek is ignored or passed over in too many fics. I think people seriously underestimate that Czech!) I'm thoroughly enjoying this fic and I'm absolutely rabid to read more -- and I don't even usually like first person fics! Great work here.
Chapter 1: The Art of Sport
Sora has been stuck in prison, but receives daily visits from a nameless stranger.

Very interesting pairing, and very nicely done. Since this is part one of three, I will happily stalk you and look for the next two installments!
Tag scene for Hot Zone. McKay is cold.

Perfect closer to a series I thoroughly enjoyed! Way to wrap it up! I think the best thing about the story is your dialogues -- you have McKay and Sheppard railing off lines that are so true to character I can actually hear them saying the words in my head. It's uncanny, really. Usually you find a line or two in a fic that strikes you as being really true to character -- you had dozens that would slide right into an actual Atlantis episode, no problem. (Maybe not so much the mushy bits, but then, they'll never give us that on screen, so it's up to us fans to fill the gaps!) Honestly, I wasn't really sure about any pairings for Atlantis but you've sold me on McShep. I can't wait to see what you write next! Keep 'em coming!
Carson is unpacking.

I know it's almost bad to say, but this was so funny and cute! You kept me giggling -- the revealing of the last item in the personal items bag, Kavanaugh in the shower-- genius, man. And thent he closet! Totally unforgettable. I'm still snickering at the thought.
Chapter 3: My World and Will You Please Stop Moving?
Rodney McKay learns having an artificial ATA gene isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Wow, I'm loving this fic so far. You write McKay so well and the scenes just play out so perfectly I can picture it all in my mind. Not only that, but you've got me hooked -- I have to know how this all goes! I look forward to reading more!
McKay had a habit of falling in love with people that drove him nuts.

This is just delightfully delicious!
He remembers the failures. Somehow he must think of something better. (Sequel to Thirty-Six

I love your story. The whole thing, all of it, from Thirty-Six to One. And I can't explain how happy it made me to come and find a new installment. Consider me a fan. I look forward to reading more, because your writing is excellent, very stirring and gripping and it always leaves me wanting more.
Author's Response: And you just made my day! I'm very glad you're enjoying the fics and that they're coming across well. I'm hoping the next chapter will be a little better than this one, but I hope to have that out soon. Thank you!
Chapter 2: The First Wall
Hee, I jsut saw a new installment and I literally went, "Squee!" I actually said the word squee. And as usual, you don't disappoint. I love how you don't seem to rush the relationship, I have a big problem with that reading a lot of fics, but you have so much writing to back everything up. Heh, I'll be back for sure!
Author's Response: LOL. I do that too! Thank you. It's one of those things that irks me as well since love isn't a cure all much as we'd like it to be. I'm glad you'll be back for more and thanks again!
Y'know, no matter how much time elapses, the minute I start reading I'm right back in the fic again where I left off. And, as usual, clamoring for more. :)
Author's Response: Aw, thanks. I know I'm really late with the last chapters, so allow me to apologize. Life took over for a bit. :)
Chapter 4: Carousel Revolution
Kavanagh dwells on his plans for job advancement on Atlantis, and his hatred for Rodney McKay.

That was genius. Very true to the characters, I think, and you did Kavanaugh justice. Not that I think the man deserves justice, but hey! You clearly rose above the public perceptin of Kavanaugh and as a writer that's only a good thing. Lovely work.
Rodney's not trying to be the hero

This story is phenominal. Great. Perfect from concept to realization. You write good Sheppard, you write good McKay, you made a great scenario and you just wrote it out so wonderfully. I am in awe of this fic.
The Atlantis crew fear McKay's genius has slipped into insanity. Are their worst fears realised, or is there something sinister at work?

I'm enjoying this so far and I look forward to seeing where it goes!
McKay has a proposition. A sleep-deprived John needs some convincing.

Hee-lar-ee-ous. Was that ever a fun read! I mean, McKay really is the direct type, isn't he? *walks off snickering madly*
