Basically, I've had a lot of silly AU ideas and instead of ignoring them in all favor of HUGE au stories; I'll write them and post them here. Author's Response: Thanks so much, glad you\'re enjoying it! after talking it over, we came to the conclusion that the tests for being a guide or sentinel are so common that being flagged as normal wouldn\'t be included in records, just being marked as one or the other ;) Good question though!!

Summary: Project Atlantis is a top secret think tank located in the Pacific Northwest. Acastus Kolya, the project's second in command, has been using its resources for his own agenda, and now he's eager to play with his newest specimen - John Sheppard.

John is going to be a very sore kitty for a while after this. And given the show's canon... I wonder what Rodney is hiding in his genetic background?

(Appearances of Characters from SG-1. All pairings excepting McKay/Sheppard background. Spoilers for SG1 Seasons 2 and 3, and maybe more after.)

Author's Response: Thank you! I\'d love to write a sequel, but so far none of the ideas I\'ve had (since 2004, even) have really been able to go anywhere, but I still visit it from time to time, so, maybe? :)

Summary: Sentinels and Guides form a juvenile pair bond in childhood in order for Sentinels to survive. Neither John or Rodney formed that bond until they were older, which shocked both their parents, the academic community, and their governments.
