This story was amazing, really. Creepy and ambiguous up to the end—each new section was like a piece to a puzzle, and the imagery was so strong I could see a constant running movie in my mind. I think my favorite part was when past and present collided for John, and his mother's voice was replaced in the dream. Very cool, you're a brilliant writer.
You're quickly becoming one of my favorite writers. This was such a beautiful little scene, without being overly sentimental. Gorgeous imagery again, and lovely character interaction. Thank you for sharing it.
I really enjoyed this. It was well written and a great exploration of the McKay Sheppard friendship from the eyes of someone less expected--you even made me almost feel sorry for the guy. Almost. Awesome work. :-)
I love this! Especially the way one flows into another, and you never really know who's going to be thinking about who--great work. :-)
Author's Response: Oh thank you! I wanted to try to connect people who don't usually tend to interact in canon. Atlantis is such a small community. There's no way they don't all know each other.
