I've been writing fanfiction for a couple of years now. I do mostly Sheppard/Lorne stories because I like the dynamic those two have, and they're just great characters to work with. As a first year in college, managing time has been a little weird, but I think I've settled into a rhythm now, so updates and new stories should be coming quicker now. At the same time that I write fanfiction, I'm also currently writing and attempting to publish my own novel. And one last word: Thank you to the readers. :)
Summary: In which Chuck takes his first trip offworld in the company of Sheppard, Lorne, and Parrish, and learns that just because the rumors are outlandish it doesn't mean they aren't true.
Gah! It was wonderful! And a pairing that hasn't been seen much and while I'm not liking you right now for the cliff-hanger ending, it's well worth the waiting for it! :]
Author's Response: I love the actor. I loved him in XFiles and I can see him in all sorts of roles from good to evil lol. I have no problems pairing him with John although I have paired him with Carson mostly and thats because I think Carson\'s gentleness would help tame the military machine. One of my colleagues at work pointed out how alike John and Fox looked. Maybe lean dark broody and secretly brilliant is his type lol. I\'m trying to write Xanthe a little xmas pressie atm, an add on for 24/7 and the differences in the relationships are vast. Where Skinner had to take the bull by the horns and tame the Fox, Caldwell has to do everything to avoid scaring the hell out of someone confused about what he thinks he might be.
Summary: Lorne is missing. Sheppard goes after him at first thinking it would be just a routine rescue mission, but soon realizes finding Lorne is going to be harder than he's okay with. Lorne wakes up in a cell and can't remember where home is, his only clues are the patch on his jacket and the memory of a man with wild hair and a sexy smile.
Summary: When Elizabeth had said that General O'Neill was sending them some specialist help, John's first thought had been SEALs, or maybe the SAS. What he got was sheep.
Summary: "Oh, I see how it is. Botany's not a real science; it's just a bunch of plants. No one ever wants to take a botanist hostage, it's always "oh, Doctor McKay, could you build us a bomb," or "construct a death ray or die"."
Summary: In 1939, Cam Mitchell gives history a little nudge. Years later that nudge starts to have unexpected effects. Sheppard/Mitchell, Lorne/Parrish.
