Very sweet. :) This line just about broke me: "They rocked together, until Rodney started to cry again, and then they just held each other while John whispered meaningless noises into his ear, and stroked his back and his shoulders, accepting the tears, and not trying to make them stop." Nice & angsty! ^^

Summary: The first kiss was firm, dry, a statement of intentions. He moved his hands to cradle John's face and noted with satisfaction that John had let his P-90 fall to do the same to him. The second kiss was hot and hungry and he moaned into it, tasting John and trying to memorize the very essence, wanting something to get him through the next few hours. Something to clutch to his heart in case things went terribly wrong.

Ooh, nice bait-and-switch! :D I hope it had a happy end result for them! ^^;
