This was absolutely hilarious. I couldn't stop giggling. All the mailing lists they set up, the 'omg, I just posted, what if everyone thinks it's horrible' angst, the "real" Mary Sue... I liked this a whole lot. I'm thinking I'll have to go check out the SG-1 ones now.

I think every fanfic author goes through the 'no-one's commented, it must be rubbish' thing - I know I do pretty much every time I post. I couldn't resist the thing with Mary Sue - it must be awful to be involved with fanfic if that's your name! The Sg-1 stories are on my website if you're interested - URL in author details.

This was very sweet. I have to say, I love these sorts of stories where everything is just simmering right below the surface. Also, I'm glad that someone has written Teyla/McKay. :-)
