Hi everyone!
My most recognizable features are having an identical twin sister (who posts her stories by the pen name twinchaosblade), my love for the English language (especially poetry) and my addiction to Rainer Maria Rilke's works (a famous poet).
I've been writing stories for many years now but I've never done fanfics before. I feel more secure in inventing characters myself than writing adventures for already established ones.
Nonetheless, I'll give "Stargate:Atlantis" a try and hope you all enjoy it!
Beta-reader: No
Summary: Being attacked by the bad guys and taken prisoner was becoming a cliché of the most tired sort.
Written for the Criminal Activity challenge on FlashFic.

Very nice story, great setting and superbly written. I loved it! Brilliant title too, by the way.
Talk of a spiffy way to save the day as McKay did, and Shep's bluffing was truly spot-on.
Just as John said, the bad guys simply don't stand a chance in hell against Rodney, much less against the combined forces of 'McShep'!
It sort of reminded me a little of a story called "To Market, to Market" by 'ga unicorn' on ff.net.
Summary: Rodney's going to destroy a world today.

It's disturbing and understandable at the same time; deeply moving and yet causing me to back away.
I'm so sorry for what happend to Rodney and still I don't think he's right with his decision.
Great and touching McKay/Sheppard friendship moment though.
Author's Response: Well, no, of course he isn\'t. Mass destruction or, in this case, xenocide, is never the answer. This is meant to freak out.
Summary: John and Rodney's first kiss.

I liked this ficlet very much, especially the part about Sheppard taking a risk for himself only once. John's musings were thought out and really in character, as was Rodney's probable surprise.
Author's Response: Thank you - what a lovely comment! I really appreciate feedback, especially about characterisation.
Chapter 1: Worth the Risk
Summary: Rodney has a big mouth sometimes.
Updated: 17 Oct 2007; Published: 15 Oct 2007
Hilarious piece of humorous fanfic!
Very well written (as always) with a great clue.
Yes, maybe Rodney should keep his mouth shut from time to time. And his mentioning Shep's 'setting the bombs off' won't exactly help either.
Author's Response: I\'m sure Rodney will think before speaking next time. Really.
Summary: "Give me one good reason why we shouldn't have sex."
Updated: 16 Oct 2007; Published: 16 Oct 2007
Oh, great how the realization dawned on John. And yes, cuddling is VERY important too!
Nice take on the scenario.

Very funny scenes 'in the life of...'
The start with the dinosaur/lizards and the final merriage are my favourites among the five exerts, with the Puddle Jumper repair right on their heels.
Author's Response: :-) Thank you!
Summary: "I'm not gay, all right?" John announced, dropping his tray on the table with a thud.

Wonderful coming-out story, even though it was more of a realizing-it fic.
Hilarious scenes with Shep coming across the other characters who already believe he and Rodney are a couple. And finally the kissing on the balcony...
One of the best stories I read in a while!
Summary: Just like springtime.

Aw, another beautiful ficlet. Really sweet story-telling and characterization. Great idea, to have McShep take some time off just for a few minutes and do nothing but enjoy the moment.
Summary: "Colonel," Rodney says in a desperate whisper, "do you want another black mark on your record?"
Updated: 16 Oct 2007; Published: 16 Oct 2007
Now if THAT hadn't been some sort of trick!?! *snickers*
Great to have McKay see this as a sign they SHOULD be doing it...
Nice scene and superbly written. Thanks
Summary: Rodney got his new SX-7 two weeks after he'd ordered it. Him. It. Whatever.
In which John is an android.

Um, what a start (for both the story and Rodney's relationship with the SX-7)! *hugs lavvyan*
Author's Response: Yeah. I totally want one, too. ;) *hugs*
Sweet, John's being able to develop further and offer witty answers.
McKay's so lost there already!
Author's Response: Yeah. His systems really are state of the art. :)
Haha, jealous John! Hilarious.
But he's right: when kissing him, Rodney's thinking of shopping!?
Author's Response: Rodney is a genius. He can multitask. ;)
*sighs happily*
Somehow I fear there's still some hardship to overcome for them.
Does bribing help to make you write faster? ;-)
Author's Response: Of course there is. And as a matter of fact, yeah, it does. *g*
Oh, nooooooooo! *sobs*
What a terrible situation. Rodney's so not going to return John but I understand his fear after McKay's comment to Radek. John's such a sensitive sweet-heart. *sniff*
Author's Response: Yeah, it was a thoughtless thing to say. Rodney tried to convey that Johnwas perfect for him as he was, but all John heard was \"cheaper.\" Poor boys. *pets them*
Cool to bring Carson on in, too! And I really feared for a tiny moment John might have ruined his programming, so Rodney would have to make it work again himself.
Lovely how you made the last sentences equal each other in the two stories.
Oh no, this sister-introduction really went South for Rodney and John. I'm so glad they still have each other and stick together for good.
Summary: They wake up to find themselves in a grey room. A plain, grey room with no windows or doors.

Interesting setting and completely unexpected outcome. It reminded me a little of the "StarTrek: Voyager" episode 'Course Oblivion'.
And I agree to Rodney: it doesn't matter how we experience the things around us. It's the experience itself that counts!
Author's Response: Thanks. I remember that episode of Voyager--it was quite heartbreaking. :)
Chapter 1: The Experiment
Summary: A set of AU J/R established relationship stories set in Zinnith's
Entangled Particles 'verse where Rodney is an author and John works at a youth centre. All dedicated to Zin with much love.
Updated: 21 Oct 2008; Published: 23 Oct 2007
Fabulous story and excellent writing.
I loved McKay's ideas to entertain the bunch of kids (and later on even their parents). Sweet ending, with Rodney realizing how much John means to him.
Author's Response: Thank you! I\'m glad you liked the story & the writing -- it\'s really great to get that kind of feedback! If you liked this \'verse, be sure to check out Zinnith\'s fics - link below.
Chapter 1: Subtle Realignment
Summary: Rodney got his new SX-7 two weeks after he'd ordered it. Him. It. Whatever.
In which John is a human.

*sobs violently* You are breaking my heart, Lavvyan. Please let John explain what happened; they are such a great couple!
Aw, such a sweet reunion between the two! I'm immensely glad Rodney let John explain after his return in the night.
A very good and believeable explanation about how this all came to pass, too!
