After saving the crew in the Puddle Jumper, Aiden becomes depressed.

I never cared for the character. And was not the only one in my group that was glad the character was no longer around.
Since becoming aware of SGA fan fiction I have be exposed to a wide range of Ford perceptions. Introspective and well put together stories like this one make me see what I would otherwise have missed.
Chapter 1: Acknowledgment
Really makes me remember how young the character was, and how difficult being cut off can be when going through tough times.
I reached the end of this story confused - yes - no - maybe? But hey since that seems to be Ford's state of mind I guess it does what you wanted it too.
Someone, long ago, put out a request for a kidfic. I being stupid, took a stab at it. Did I mention that I'm not a squishy kind of person. What has resulted is the anti-kidfic.

The story is cute.
The drivers license picture and the rejection of Mary Sue were really funny.
OMG. I laughed so hard my nose started to run.
Flashback to the '80s and my mom running a home daycare and going to the store with 4 2-year olds with harness and leashes (recommended by the licensing agency).
Funny anyway but that bit just made it extra special.
Adult and kid humor - great mixture.
Poor Rodney, poor Bug.
I thought I was going to be able to control it this time, but no such luck. I think the laughing made me pull a muscle.
Summary: ...It wasn't like Daniel was
suffering, or anything. So he was small and fuzzy and eating hamburger on a bed. It kind of looked like fun.

Followed a review from Orithain to this story. Then found your link to Pegasus B. Thanks so much because without those stories I would have been sooooo confused.
The concept and writing are good and I think I would have enjoyed reading this without the background, but having that made this that much more special.
Chapter 1: Tarsiidae (Or, a Simian Vacation)
Sweet. Fun. Loved the surfing and the flightless waterfowl mating rituals.
Chapter 2: Pygoscelis (Or, a Gift of Pebbles)
An incident on a mission forces Sheppard and McKay to face the tension that has risen between them.

Excellent conversation all the way through.
Ford's apology and Rodney's indignation were especially good.
No summary provided. Sheppard/McKay friendship, Sheppard whumping.

Painful - emotionally and physically.
All things considered its a wonder everyone wasn't bonkers after the first year, but that wouldn't go over well with the tv censors so...
Chapter 10: Part 10 of 15
As a character study it works.
As a victim one of the first concerns is were is the abuser and how to make sure they can't do it again. The fact no one made an attempt, at least one that was documented within the story, to determine if Kolya was dead bothers me.
Chapter 15: Part 15 of 15
He was dating Rodney McKay, and no one had had the decency to tell him.

The summary is eye-catching and the story is cute, but the comment about bickering being forepplay doesn't really support it.
I enjoyed reading the story, but I did feel kinda let down because I was really expecting a scene or series of scenes showing John realizing he was in a relationship and this just doesn't do that for me.
It's a closet...

Ya gotta love it when the plan comes together. :}
John has a secret he keeps from all but one person in Atlantis. Pairing: John Sheppard/Radek Zelenka

Followed a recommendation by Raicara.
Intriguing set up, lovely pairing. I would really like to see more of this reality.
In every base that Michael Bates has ever been stationed, there's always been a 'go to guy'. Pairing: Bates/Zelenka

Not a pairing I had ever considered, but your writing made it so real.
Too bad Bates had to go back to the Milky Way.
Author's Response: Thank you :)
Chapter 1: Universal Constants
Would Rodney ever be able to forgive himself?
Updated: 21 Jun 2005; Published: 21 Jun 2005
Its actually surprising stuff like this doesn't happen on a regular basis. Always waiting on the edge for culling - I'd like to think thats what made them snap - but maybe they are just self centered and warped just for the hell of it.
Rodney taking it upon himself to help is well done. I'm surprised he hasn't blown up the planet yet - but maybe Bates took care of it?
Wraiths in clown suits are very disturbing
Updated: 31 Jul 2005; Published: 31 Jul 2005
So you see Wraith in clown suits. You taking anything for that or should you be?
Author's Response: It\'s probably far too late for therapy of any type now, pharmaceutical or otherwise, but, hey, at least the offness can be entertaining from time to time. ;) And thanks, I\'m glad you enjoyed it.
What if Elizabeth wasn't the only one to survive in the first timeline? This chapter gen.

As much fun as reading WIP can be, there is a large part of me that really prefers finished stories.
Crazy and oh so fun.
