Summary: In this story you will find blood, bombs, trapped heroes, dramatic rescues, trigger happy aliens, mashed astrophysicists, slightly squished colonels, destruction, psychopathic Ancients with paranoiac tendencies, arguments, broken bones, pain, explosions, a couple of clichés, booby traps, dodgy Ancient technology and McKay gets smacked! There are also waffles with lots and lots of maple syrup, guns, babysitters, electrocution, a Zed PM or two, cheap-ass MacGyver references, odd logic, completely incorrect but vaguely cool sounding scientific and medical jargon, angst, an irate Scotsman, jinxes and possibly the odd plot hole here and there. Probably not in that order, though. So it's pretty much your average off-world mission, then...

I loved this! I was worried about losing the original ship but an Ancient ship is way better. Does the ship would keep its original name, or it would be Elizabeth from now on?

.btw. What happened to the "Iphignenia"? Were they attacked? I'm really curious, if you have time of course.

Author's Response: I see Fortune and Elizabeth as two separate personalities--in fact, see the ship as a kind of overgrown dog desperate to win John\'s approval. :-) As for the Iphigenia, sad to say I am nearly five weeks behind on my SGA watching (once the cancellation was announced, I began to \'hoard\' remaining eps)so I deliberately left the attack on that ship vague. Will try to answer all questions as the stories unfold and I catch up on back episodes. :-) Thanks!

Summary: Colonel Sheppard is playing Savior of the Universe. The rest of the people on Atlantis are called back to Earth. Sheppard also has a twin brother, who's a general? Atlantis is destroyed! Add in the fact that McKay is also a woman! Well, McKay's bad temper is really understandable.

Ok, that was weird.

Are you taking advice from season 5, where it seems everything happen between episodes?

I like MacKay-girl stories, they're usually funny.

I like the man-turned-into-woman angle, unless you're planning to reunite Mer with the "real" Rodney at some point, since this is a parallel universe.

Summary: Richard knows he doesn't fit into Atlantis.

Good insight. I like Woolsey.
