I am a nineteen year old girl going to tech school, vaguely hoping to get a job in radio. I have a livejournal account under this same name, if you are really that interested. :)
They stumble upon an advanced race that allows you to peer into different realities and see what could have happened in your life. Needless to say, Rodney begins to appreciate his own universe a bit more.

What a wonderful last line.
You created Rodney's voice and the tone of the story very well, and I love his opinions on the various universes. Thanks for this fic.
Chapter 1: Five Universes Rodney's Glad Aren't His
Summary: It made no sense that Rodney should want that particular penguin. John slid where Rodney preferred to walk, burning his energy like he might be missing something. John didn't squawk, he
drawled, and he'd never shown any interest in the stars Rodney studied every night.

You are so, so good. They're so /them/. The premise is so unusual, and yet I truly got into this story, and I love it *so much*.
Lines that stood out to me:
"Well, I suspect it didn't think I'd understand what it was doing, but, well... not every creature can share my vastly superior intellect."
- Rodney! Oh, Rodney. Of course.
"Yeah," John said quietly, sliding his beak against Rodney's, the colony pressing in around them with an unerring sense for group hugs.
- Awww, so sweet. And also, I love, "unerring sense for group hugs".
Thanks for writing this! *adds to favorites*
Author's Response: They\'re penguins! Group hugs is what they do! :D
Chapter 2: Bipeds and the Deep Blue Sea
The Secret Santa gift exchange at Atlantis causes Rodney and Radek some headache. Not to mention that weird fluttery feeling somewhere low in the abdominal region.
Updated: 05 Jan 2007; Published: 04 Jan 2007
Oh, this is *so* wonderful.
It's so hard to come up with actual *meaningful* gifts (at least, for me), so watching them do so was an aspect I like.
Also - so. Very. Sweet. I had a craving for McKay/Zelenka, and this is wonderful for it.
Author's Response: Awww, it\'s so amazing to get feedback on an old fic - it\'s like an unexpected gift :) I\'m glad you liked the story and thank you so much for taking the time to tell me so.
Chapter 1: Atlantis Santa
Based on the movie Pretty Woman, but with an SGA twist. The title is based, in case you didn't know, on a song from the soundtrack.
Updated: 21 Jan 2007; Published: 20 Jan 2007
Fantastic. I like the way you combined Pretty Woman with SGA, and kept everyone in character. The scenes with O'Neil, while few, got his personality across well.
I especially love the ending. Thank you for writing this!
Chapter 9: Chapter 9 of 9
Summary: The first time Rod told his Sheppard where he could stick his MENSA meetings, it was both frightening and exhilarating.
Updated: 24 Jan 2007; Published: 24 Jan 2007
Oh, I've enjoyed this. I like how you show all the different characters, and the idea that Rod would take another look at himself after seeing what could be.
Lovely ending. Thanks for writing.
Author's Response: Thanks a lot for taking the time to comment, I appreciate that! :)
Eavesdroppers rarely like what they hear. Rodney takes something he overhears to heart. Set after "Tao of Rodney" -- Spoilers for that episode.

I think I love you.

Oh, yes. Yes, yes, yes. Thank you.

This is... the realest - most real? - anyway, the realest story I've ever read. This is the most incredible writing I can remember reading.
Author's Response: Happy you liked it: Thank you very much for letting me know!
An SGA version of Disney's Aladdin. I'm totally lame, I know. Rating for later chapters. Rodney has spent his life being persecuted for his work with Ancient devices. He dreams of a better life, but John knows that it isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Mmm, yay. Enjoyed re-reading this. Also:
(As a side note, he'd look totally hot in Jasmine's outfit :D)
A black one, of course. *grins*
Chapter 3: There's So Much More
Mensaverse AU: Radek Zelenka first met Rod McKay at a fancy reception in Moscow.
Updated: 18 Aug 2007; Published: 17 Aug 2007
It was probably tricky to juggle everyone's personalities and their different roles; I like how you did it. I find myself also adoring Radek as the military commander of Atlantis.
I just have one question: what exactly is Rod's job there?
Summary: Dr. McKay was a Bad Person. He deserved to be punished.

This is so completely awesome. Thank you.
Author's Response: Thank you!
Ronon knows Rodney better than he thinks he does
Updated: 26 Nov 2007; Published: 25 Nov 2007
Awwwww. That's really nice. Thanks for writing it! I don't think there are enough Ronon/Rodney stories out there, and I enjoyed this one.
Summary: "I think it's time you told me why the bloody hell you have Lee and Zelenka's missing SX-7 on your bed."

I just want to tell you how much I've enjoyed this before I add it to my favorites. The characterization is awesome, the writing style is great, and you incorporate everything into the Stargate universe wonderfully. Thanks for writing this.
It was Rodney's nature to be repellent. It was the Pegasus Galaxy's nature to take it to the next level. It took volcanoes, Wraith, genetic experiments and Genii to show Rodney that not everyone sees him the same way.

Oooooh. One *serious* cliffhanger, this time. It makes me think of the clones in SG1; they were sort of just dropped the moment it was realized they weren't the 'originals', which really bugged me. However this turns out, I have a hopeful suspicion that that won't happen here.
I love the way you write; in one paragraph you describe the body language that you mostly have to watch the show to see: "Carson cast a concerned glance Sheppard's way, testing the waters to see what kind of reaction he could expect" and the Colonel's reaction. Then you say, "Weir [...] gave him a reassuring nod and sage smile, encouraging Beckett to continue." That's exactly her body language, and I can really see it.
Sorry for the lengthy comment. Thanks for another exciting chapter! Of course I look forward to the next one.
Author's Response: The clone thing in SG-1 always bothered me, too. I always wondered what happened to Jack\'s mini-me clone. Thanks so much for the feedback, and there\'s never such a thing as a \'too-lengthy\' comment! ;)
Heh. Lovely. Rodney forgetting he had a gun (if he did - I can't remember) and rushing the wraith, and batting his baby blues at John and getting everything he asks for. I hope the reaction isn't as bad for Rodney now they know what's happening.
I actually put off reading this so it would be longer until I finished it - my logic doesn't need to be logical! Of course I'm looking forward to the next chapter. Thank you!
Author's Response: :) If Rodney batted his pretty blue eyes at me, I\'d give him anything, too! Thanks for the review! :)
Drowning had never been a fear Rodney needed to embrace. Trust, relying on others, and having to betray his own secrets, however, was something that kept him awake at night. Friendship, whump, genetic manipulation, homicidal tree huggers...
Updated: 04 Mar 2008; Published: 20 Feb 2008
I enjoyed this. It is very in character, and Rodney's 'mutation' is very believable.
The ending made me go, "*Awwwwww*" Heh.
Thanks for writing this. I look forward to reading more!
Author's Response: Thank you very much! It\'s always great to get an \'awww\' :)
Chapter 8: Solving the Problem
Criss-Cross series #4: Team Ellison works on salvage -- of equipment, people, and relationships. (Repost for re-organization).
Updated: 24 Feb 2008; Published: 24 Feb 2008
Uh... *tries to get brain together*
Ooh, aah, and fabulous. That's all I can say at this moment. In a good way.
(Also, Jim and Blair! Awesome.)
I pasted some parts I particularly liked into Word. I'll put them below.
"Just think of it like a phone number," Rodney chimed in from behind him, at the same moment that Jackson said, "Think of it as a word." A second later, the two were arguing about mnemonic representations of Stargate addresses.
- I love how their thoughts about this fit so well with their personalities. Wonderful detail. -
Rodney wasn't finished with his paean to Colonel Carter. "Blonde, tall, legs up to here, smartest woman in two galaxies, almost a match for my own unparalleled brilliance? Only woman truly worthy of bearing my progeny?"
- The last sentence especially is so, so Rodney. I can very clearly see and hear him saying it. -
It made John think of sex. He supposed after a little time with Rodney, uncontrollable laughter would always make him think of sex. He had to work to keep his own face straight.
- ! -
Thank you so much for this story. I enjoyed it immensely.
Author's Response: Thank you for the detailed comments! Each of those bits has a special place in my heart, too. I\'m glad you liked the inclusion of Jim and Blair!
Criss Cross series #7: Some messages waiting in the top of the queue to be sent next time contact is established with Earth.
Updated: 27 Feb 2008; Published: 27 Feb 2008
What a wonderful twist. I would love to read General O'Neil's reaction to this, if you are so inclined.
Author's Response: Thanks, I\'m glad you enjoyed it! Not planning to do anything with General Jack\'s reaction, but it could happen...
If anything can go wrong, it will. When Ronon goes missing during a mission, it's up to Rodney and the others to find him.
Updated: 01 Mar 2008; Published: 01 Mar 2008
The ending made me laugh, and I love Radek's reaction along with Rodney's retaliation.
Thank you for this. :) *adds to favorites*
Chapter 1: You Are A Runner and I Am My Father's Son
Summary: "You are not allowed to show Ronon any more musical movies," Rodney shouted in John's ear.
Total crackfic for sga_flashfic's "Not Dead Yet" Challenge. Set between the Season 4 episodes "Midway" and "The Kindred, Part 1". Slight spoilers. Possible inferred McShep slash.

... the ending.
I love you. So much.
