I'm honoured to be your 100th review! this is that rare type of story that combines truth and beauty to produce a glorious and satisfying experience that you can enjoy without any prior knowledge of SGA. i dont think i've ever felt tearful because of a story before. Rodney and his understandable insequirities are NOT portrayed as weaknesses as some reviewers have said but give us a rounded portrait of a complex and contradictory man. and yes, I did shout at John, but I also understood his emotional shut down.
Anyway, thank you for this, a story to remember!!!
Rodney accepted that one day he might die on an alien planet...he just didn't want to be killed by giant bats...or giant anything for that matter. Not a death fic

AT LAST!!!! thank you for carrying on with my all time favourite story. I'm really looking forward to the next chapter.
Author's Response: Thank you. I\'m really flattered it\'s your favorite. I shall try to write faster and finsh the next chapter.
Chapter 8: Proeliator mulier
Jeannie's husband thinks John and Rodney are more than friends. She isn't so sure. When Rodney and John come to visit they have a chance to find out which of them is right.

Just about perfect. I love all your stuff but this might just be my favourite. perfect characterisation, voices, I love the way you write the Mckays.
Summary: It made no sense that Rodney should want that particular penguin. John slid where Rodney preferred to walk, burning his energy like he might be missing something. John didn't squawk, he
drawled, and he'd never shown any interest in the stars Rodney studied every night.

I'ts kinda genius!!
Author's Response: Thank you!
Chapter 1: Antarctic Drift
There's a cabin in the woods. John loves it. Rodney? Not entirely sure yet. Vague post-Atlantis AU.

I have this story on my favourites list but realise I havent reviewed it. That last line is very beautiful and the whole piece with it's descriptive rhythm and evocative sense of place is just sublime. thank you.
Chapter 1: A Cabin Sketch

This is a very special story, I know the muse can be a bit stubborn sometimes but it would be wonderful to have a little bit more?????
You are such a great writer, please give up the day job and write full time!!!!!
Rodney knew his day had just gotten worse.

Chapter 1: The Labeling Approach
Rodney invites John to Jeannie's for Christmas.

One of my favourite stories ever. Just perfect.
Characterisations spot on, sexy and romantic at the same time. i loved it.
Rodney wondered if anyone else got a postcard in their email.

Ooo, it gets nearer. This is such a great series.
Sorry for nagging at you in my reply to your review, didnt see the new one in time!!
Author's Response: That\'s fine, I understand. :3
Summary: John could have spent the night on the mainland taking part in some crazy Athosian harvest festival that had promised to include lots of ale, but he'd declined in favour of playing chess. With Rodney. Who was now standing him up.

How good are you?!!!!!!!!
This rated LOUD AND CONTENT on my end of story sigh rating.
Fantastic as usual. I love the delicacy of the 'wooing' at the end.
Author's Response: Story sigh rating! That\'s awesome! :D
The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step of getting Rodney McKay in the damn car.

just about the perfect example of a short piece about nothing in particular but that still shows us something sweetly new about our characters. Great.
Someone comes seeking revenge. Both John and Rodney will suffer. AU for Outcast & Phantoms. Spoiler for Storm.

this kept me 'turning the pages'. I really believed in the psycological torture and thought you really captured Rodney and John's friendship. Thank you, excellent!
Author's Response: Thank you - It\'s always great to get feedback. So glad you enjoyed it.\r\n\r\nM xx
Follow-up to "Not Your Only Fear." Rodney's perspective.

This is a beautifully written, and such a well structured story. You really understand Rodney, and the last paragraph is sublime.
Author's Response: Thank you! I think even in the best of circumstances, Rodney would be prone to a bit of floundering in a relationship; it\'s part of his charm :) Thanks for the feedback!
If Tao of Rodney had gone slightly differently...

Really beautiful, imaginative alternative to the actual episode and the voices are so recognisable. thank you.
Author's Response: Thanks! I\'m glad you enjoyed it.
Chapter 1: Clear Blue Skies
Lorne and Parrish shelter from the rain, no, wait, flash flood.
Updated: 25 Apr 2008; Published: 24 Apr 2008
parrish and lorne really work dont they? and you really got Lorne's voice just perfectly. This is great, any chance of 'what happens next'?
Author's Response: Yes, I think they do work, and rewatching the beginning of Runner I can see how it all started *grin* No one can say they weren\'t close, LOL. Thank you very much for reading, and your kind feedback. I\'m afraid I\'m hopeless at the \'what happened next\' writing, sorry! Wish I could though...
Rodney and Ronon are captured by another galactic mad man. Sheppard and Teyla try not to self-destruct while attempting to find them. A little dark.
Updated: 26 Apr 2008; Published: 26 Apr 2008
gripping read i wish i could write something like this!!
Author's Response: Awww thank you.
complete crack. really. Takes place in the time that had to exist, medically, between Trio and Midway. featuring: an extremely drunk Sheppard and an exhausted McKay.

i LOVE this so much. so cute and believable, this is just how i like to imagine our boys.
Chapter 1: The Universe is Awesome
Summary: "Even my nightmares are selfish," Rodney says miserably.
Updated: 13 May 2008; Published: 13 May 2008
This is SO good. sighs happy little sighs.
Author's Response: Thank you! I was quite nervous as I\'d never written explicit slash before, but there are so many fabulous role models in the SGA fandom!
When Rodney escapes to Alaska to work on 'a very important paper', he doesn't count on meeting John Sheppard. Suddenly his paper doesn't seem quite as important as it originally did.

Ah, just about perfect, as always. You get the perfect mixture of sweetness and awkwardness that sums up mcshep.
He says your name and it sounds like he's broken to pieces inside, glass, fragile precious crystal that should never have been used, except it was
used and you want to put him back together and make him shine again.

great how you sustain the intensity in this story. Really well written and poignant.
