Journalist, lifelong sci-fi fan and unswerving fan of all things Stargate, I am 52, happily single and I have never had so much fun in my life as I have had since discovering fan fiction. I'm diving in.
Summary: McKay bears witness to a scene of unexpected, intense violence.

This is an excellent piece of work. A bloody good read....
Summary: Romance is a luxury; the time to consider things and weigh them up more so. McKay/Sheppard/Weir.

This piece just breaks my heart, yet I keep coming back to it. Really good work...
Summary: It ran between the fingers of his memory.
Updated: 11 Jul 2005; Published: 24 May 2005
More excellent work. Looking forward to reading more of you stuff...
Summary: Spiraling down. The Wraith are many and the
Daedalus is just one ship. Things go very, very badly.

I've read this one several times and each time I get something new from it, some subtlety of phrase or image that catches me...this is damn good work. I'm not just a fan of Stargate, I'm a fan of yours....
Summary: John, Rodney, Ronon, and Teyla are trapped in a cave. Naturally, hijinks ensue.

This gets better every time I read it. I can just hear the characters coming through as I read the words. I laugh my butt off every time I come back to this piece. Wonderful work, really, really wonderful...
Summary: Rodney considers himself a practical man. This was originally written for the sga_remix community, and is a remix of Triptych by Alyse.
Updated: 19 Sep 2005; Published: 19 Sep 2005
I love this piece just about as much as I love Triptych. It fascinates me, the concept of taking someone's idea and twisting it just ever so slightly...and doing it so well. Good work...
Summary: Then John can't fight back the giggle because Rodney does it on purpose, drifts his fingers along the exact center of John's chest, concentrating on that ticklish inch of skin right above his belly button.

Nice work, good flow to the narrative. I love this kind of short story, brief yet with a completeness to the beginning and the ending. A very satisfying sort of canape-read. Extra points for using "albeit..."
Summary: "Worst case scenario?"
"We tear a hole in the fabric of the universe." Trinity. There was no rational way to handle this.

I know I passed this piece over at least two times since I first discovered this site, don't really remember why except maybe I wasn't in the right frame of mind for all the angst, but whatever changed ... damn, am I glad it did. This is an exceptional piece of work, you both should be proud.
I had to go back to the beginning at one point and start over again, because I couldn't get my head around what was happening to my favorite characters, but once I did go back it, I glommed onto the vital point that they are not the JS/RM/EW of the canon reality. In a lot of ways, knowing that made it easier to read, but it also forced me to read them as independent characters - not the characters I loved already. Then I fell in love with these three people. And then, in the last chapters I fell in love with the next set.
Again, great work.
One question - what happened to the feather?
Summary: There was something about mixing the DNA of a wraith with the DNA of a human...

Okay, I'm hooked...Any chance this will ever be finished? Be a shame is it's not...

Your fans are ready for the next chapter. I know this one is...
Author's Response: Work has eaten up writing time at present. I do have an update in progress, though, and will have it online as soon as possible.
Chapter 26: Part 26 - The Other Side
Okay, I just found the latest chapter...call me greedy, insatiable, needy but I really, really, really want to see this story finished. Even after all this time.
Any chance of it?
Author's Response: I most definitely plan to finish the story. Real life has gotten in the way of all writing time for far too long, but I do know exactly where the story is going, and intend to continue to the end when life calms down.
Chapter 27: Part 27 - 'If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels'
Summary: a moment in extremis
Updated: 04 Jun 2006; Published: 04 Jun 2006
This is good. I can't find any wasted words at all. And I like the way the meter of the sentence structure - the stops and starts and the ramble - reflects Rodney's emotions. This is really nice work...
Summary: Driving around, finding their way home.

Again, excellent work, Auburn. I do like your stuff...
Summary: There were things Sheppard told Ronon.

Good work. A nice, tight little read...
Summary: Five weeks after the events in
The Return I, Sam Carter runs into John and Rodney, and they try to make do with what they can have, at least for one night.
Updated: 21 Nov 2006; Published: 21 Nov 2006
I've read this piece several times since I found this site, and it's still one of my favorites. Well done...
Summary: Rodney realizes the military has shorted the Atlantis expedition.
Updated: 13 Apr 2007; Published: 05 Mar 2007
I can totally see Rodney saying "Oh well, yes, of course you do, I just wanted to--" He made a little leaping motion with his hands. "--get a jump on things." I swear I've seen DH do that exact move several times. Loved this piece, laughed myself into a snort-chortle-fest...
Author's Response: Thank you so much. Reviews make my day. \r\n
Chapter 1: Breeding Ground
Summary: Elizabeth was still painfully aware that, come morning, their triad would diminish to only herself. That thought drove her through the rest of the night, eagerly clinging to Lorne and John in her bed. (Winner for
Best Threesome Other SGA Fic in the
2007 Stargate Fan Awards.)
Updated: 17 Apr 2007; Published: 17 Apr 2007
This has been one of my favorites since the very first time I read it. I keep coming back to it and its just as good everytime. Excellent work. And hot, too. Looking forward to the rest of the story.
Summary: Five times Ronon slept with a teammate (or seven, depending on how you count these things). Written for the 2007 Ronon Ficathon.

There are few things more joyful than a good read that stands the test of time. This is just as good a read on the 8th-9th-whateverth read as it was the first time. Sweet, hot, tender, funny, hot - oh I said hot already didn't I — oh who cares, yes, very hot. Love your work. Keep it coming.
Chapter 1: Chapter 1 of 1
Summary: "We should be having sex," John said conversationally.
Updated: 11 Nov 2007; Published: 10 Nov 2007
Math? Who needs math when you've got such deliciously sexy rationalizations?
Summary: Lorne has regrets.
Updated: 16 Nov 2007; Published: 16 Nov 2007
Short and sweet, just the way I like it. It's true when they say "Always leave 'em wanting more.
Good work...
