Nice series of stories, just finished reading them all. I like the relationship between Rodney and Blair very convincing of a very deep friendship.

Author's Response: Thanks! I\'m glad you liked them, and thought that the friendship between Rodney and Blair was convincing. There\'s just something about those two that I feel works so well...perhaps because they are so different?!

Very nice. I could see Elizabeth leading a task force on evolved humans - she would be very good at it.

Hope you plan a sequel but even if you're not then its a very good one shot.
Chapter 1: Refraction

Summary: In his trip to the future, John saw a possible reality in which his team died and Earth abandoned Atlantis. He managed to prevent the first, but now the IOA has recalled Colonel Carter and replaced her with Richard Woolsey, as holo-Rodney predicted. Determined to insure a better future for Atlantis and the Pegasus Galaxy, he gathers a group of trusted friends to help him guarantee Atlantis will remain operational no matter what anyone else has to say about it.

Nice story I've been following it for awhile but this is my first real chance to review.

I like the relationships you've established in the story though I dont doubt for a second that Earth is going to want Atlantis back. The IOA and SGC are not going to let it go without a fight - though how they could try and take Atlantis back I do not know as even with the Asgard technology they have nothing capable of denting Atlantis's shield and I have no doubt that the weapons systems of the city are more than capable of destroying any Earth built vessel - even the Odyssey.

I do hope though that they establish a proper government on Atlantis - something like the original Lantean High Council as for all his skills John Sheppard is not really the one to lead Atlantis as a seperate state though he would have to be a member of the new Atlantean High Council or whatever you decide to call it.

Look forward to seeing the next story.

Author's Response: A direct assault on Atlantis would be pretty much doomed to failure, yes. If nothing else, they could relocate the city without too much trouble.\r\n\r\nYes, they will establish something vaguely like a government, although not immediately - that sort of thing has to go through committees, assemblies, referenda, and all that jazz. The social scientists will, to say the least, be thrilled.
Chapter 11: Chapter 11 - Impact

Summary: After the events in Trinity, things become uncomfortable for Rodney.

Poor Rodney. Those two marines really deserve what came to them, though I like how Rodney punished them in his own way by making the systems in their quarters go haywire. Now they've gotten a beating off Sheppard and Ronon they should get the point - though I dont think they would be allowed to stay on Atlantis for long after this incident if Elizabeth Weir had any say in the matter.

I can understand the annoyance the rest of Team Sheppard felt about Rodney not telling them, though John should point some fingers at himself. After Doranda he wasn't very pleasant to Rodney for awhile and was still teasing him about what happened months later.

Author's Response: I doubt if the marines would want to stay after what happened! And yes, I think they deserved it. Thanks for the feedback. I\'m glad you enjoyed the story.
Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Summary: Atlantis has gained its independence. Now they must stand on their own and prepare to rid Pegasus of the Wraith. At the same time, they may have to fight against enemies both in Pegasus and back on Earth who have their own objectives for Atlantis.

Nice start. Landry is acting very true to character - I just hope whoever goes to talk to Atlantis isn't as close minded as Landry can be. Firing on Atlantis would be a mistake as by the time any ships arrive the city is likely to be at full power.

Looking forward to the next chapter.

Author's Response: Landry means well, but he tends be hard-headed at the best of times and a bit of an ass when he gets grumpy, and boy, is he ever grumpy.
Chapter 1: Chapter 1 - Problem Child

Summary: In which John finds out about McKay and Lorne and is totally fine with it. Really. Meanwhile on Earth, preparations begin for disclosure. Also includes, in no particular order: wendigos, closed timelike loops, glowing spines, flyboys, and a paradox.

Interesting, I like the idea of this series so far.

I'm not sure who its supposed to be at the end but it cannot be anything good.

Author's Response: I intentionally left it vague, although I know who it is and what he/she/it is up to. I have to have a hook to keep people coming back, quiaff? *g* I\'m glad you liked it. I promise there will be more explosions and space battles coming soon.
Chapter 5: Chapter 5 - Asymptotic Curve

Summary: After recovering from the Wraith enzyme withdrawal, Ronon needs to talk to a certain physicist...

Very good. I love the way you linked what happened to Ronon back with what McKay went through in season two. After all if there is one person in all of Atlantis who can understand precisely how Ronon feels having gone through the same agony.
Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Summary: A "Brain Storm" fix-it of sort, in which Lorne accompanies McKay instead of Keller. His solution to the problem is a bit more... direct.

Oh dear me thinks that Lorne has been hanging around Sheppard and Ronon a bit to long. Long enough to get 'how to hide things in impossible places' lessons of Ronon and pick up Sheppard's terrible taste for names and love of C4.

All in all though a nice little short story that was an enjoyable read.

Author's Response: Ronon, sure, and maybe you have a point about the names, but the love of C-4? I\'m pretty sure that\'s all Lorne. Seriously, explosives seem to be his answer for everything. He\'s always blowing up doors in Atlantis and tossing grenades around at the drop of a hat. Man\'s a pyro.

Very nice.

I can so see that happening as McKay can be very scary when he wants to be. Certainly scary enough to make a pair of Immortals stop fighting and feel like chastised children.

Though I do have to wonder how McKay knows so much about Immortals. He would be the most unlikely person to be a Watcher but you never know.

Author's Response: Thank you.\r\n\r\nIn my head it\'s his parents who were Watchers.
Chapter 1: No Sword Fights in Atlantis

Summary: "They used to be on a team together, but they only made it through one mission before Lorne up and decided he had found his one true love or something," John explained with a snort and a roll of his eyes.

Lorne flipped him off. "That's ridiculous exaggeration."

Very nice.

I quite like the relationship between Lorne and Parish and wondered how it got started and now that question is answered.

Author's Response: Thank you! I like the pairing too, even if it is based on only a few minutes of screen time and an off-hand comment by Sheppard. Parrish is fun to write, especially after seeing that actor on Sanctuary. I think I may add more fics to expand it.
