Just a huge lover and reader of SGA & Thoughtcrimes fanfiction. Maybe one day I will write something myself; until then I'll keep reading until my friends form an intervention and get me some 'real' help. Maybe 30 days at the John Sheppard Clinic for Addictions.
Summary: John and Rodney in the first year of the expedition. Sometimes love is a journey, sometimes it's a gantlet, and sometimes it's a baptism by fire.
"You know you make me wanna (Shout!)
Kick my heels up and (Shout!)
Throw my hands up and (Shout!)
Throw my head back and (Shout!)
Come on now (Shout!)
"Shout" by Isley, O'kelly; Isley, Ronald; Isley, Rudolph
I hope this lets you know how I feel about "Balcony Sessions". It was astonding! Thank you so much!
Summary: Detective John Sheppard starts his new life in suburbia and becomes steadily captivated by his neighbor, Dr. Rodney McKay, and his son Timothy. This fic started because I wondered why Rodney never got to be the tragic woobie widower in fics.
Perfection! I'm so glad that their child was a boy this time. Most authors tend to give them a girl. *wonders why* This was perfectly special. Ronon and Aidan together too *sigh* wonderfully delightful. Thank you so much!
Author's Response: I can\'t even explain why I gave them a boy - I just think a miniature Rodney would be so cute! I\'m so happy you enjoyed it.
Summary: When John suddenly loses Rodney he finds it an unacceptable loss, but later someone appears who changes everything.
Deathfic but only kind of.
How do you expect someone to read one of the best SGA stories ever written when they are sobbing so hard that they can hardly hold their head up or see one foot in front of their face; not only that, but they are so sad that they want to toss the afore mentioned computer out the window?
Juuuuusssst askin'.
Author's Response: *blushes* Wow, thank you! I\'m not even sure what to say. I can\'t imagine it\'s really one of the best SGA stories ever (there are some awesome ones out there) but I\'m thrilled that you like it so much. Hopefully the ending made you a little less sad and saved your poor computer. LOL Thanks for the awesome review! :oD
