Summary: Atlantis' new member of staff proves to be an unwelcome interference in verifying disturbing Intel on the Wraith. Sheppard's regular contact, kept too busy by his Queen, is of no use and, already frayed, tempers reach boiling point. Teyla participates in a potentially deadly meditation to unlock her memory. Will she discover the truth is a key to freedom – and will she still hear a desperate cry for help?

Very nice job with this story. It was a little difficult to understand in the beginning. Not a happy story but certainly a thought provoking one. I love the idea of all the disparate characters brought together in one story. I also have toyed with the idea of evolution of wraith and would like to see your take on that one. But all in all in a fabulous story. Better than 95% of those I've read. It was intelligent and the dialogue true to the characters. Thank you for giving us a new version of the old Michael and Teyla story as well as adding Todd and a elder wraith queen into the mix. I've always thought that with tens of thousands of years to play with that there should be a hierarchy of age with the wraith, especially the Queens. Thank You for your story. I enjoyed it immensely and couldn't stop reading it once I started.

Author's Response: Thank you for your kind words, and I\'m glad you enjoyed it. I assume you did read Enmity and Mantle before this one? (it being the third of a \'three-parter\'?) Still thank you again. The hierarchy will continue to be explored through the rest of the series.
