Wow. Excellent feel for a man who was in all of one episode (or was it two?). You dwelled deeply in the psyche of a man who I never really gave much consideration to, and now I'm kinda sad that he died. Excellent job. My favorite lines in this were . . . "Still, McKay was the head of the science division, and so Marshal couldn't strangle him . . . He could knock him out of the way when Cowen drew his weapon. And he could take a bullet in the skull for the man." That was unexpected and deeply moving. I hope you write more.
