I believe that I am unique in my own little ways.
I love music, slash and art. Steak is my favorite food. The Ship Who Sang is my favorite book. Stargate is my favorite fandom, closely followed by Supernatural. I've been told I'm funny. And while I do try to be amusing on purpose, I get the feeling that I'm more often amusing on accident.

Ohhh... I'm lovin' it! I foolishly thought I could eat while I read this. Suffice it to say that most of my ceral has been choked down and my airway burns as a result. There are just so many affortless humorous bits in here. You've done so good at expounding on the joke. All too often, I find myself thinking I finally finished laughing only to read the next few lines and start up all over again. I can't wait for more.
Author's Response: Thanks for the wonderful feedback.
Summary: Elizabeth has decided to create a bulletin board for the posting of important notices. This series of ficlets, drabbles, and other madness is the result.

LMAO. This is hysterical! I found Rodney's stuffed sheep intestine comment too funny for words. And Sheppard telling Ronan that Eldon probably thought he was gonna stab him with a fork was cool too. I like how it shows that the two highest ranking ppl, Weir and Caldwell, use the board appropriately while everyone else isn't. C'mon did Weir really expect everyone to stick to the guidelines? The kids all play no matter what the 'rents say. I would love to see a fluff ep like this.
Author's Response: Even Weir succumbed to temptation once! She told Shep that Caldwell needed to get a life. I think my next project is to have Caldwell bust loose a little. ;-)

I'm still lovin' it. Radek and Rodney are especially crackin' me up. So, when are we going to see Caldwell bust lose a little?
Hee hee hee! I love Radek's, “Oh, yes! But if I may make suggestion, you may want to have Dr. Beckett stand by with a crash cart when you do so.” To the new stash of chocolate statement. LMAO! Sooooo funny! I still want to see what you're cooking up for Caldwell.
Chapter 29: Brief Interlude 2
LMAO! "If the fleece fits..." Ah! I love it! That was great. There are several other memorable moments but that one got me the best. Didn't think Elizabeth was that sneaky or mean. Very nicely done.
Author's Response: Thanks! I think we tend to underestimate dear Elizabeth... :-)
“Blah, blah, blah, we’re expendable, blah blah, leave us to die, yadda yadda yadda.” Spare me the repetition, Colonel.
That is just so Rodney. I can hear him saying that in my head. So glad you're back to writing these. Can't wait for more John and Rodney fallout from Epiphany.
Still good stuff. I'm wondering if you're going to make good on John's "this means war" threat to Weir, what with the big game being... oh today actually. I was gonna say tomorrow but I just looked at the time. Boy have I exceeded my bedtime and it's all your fault! ;p
Author's Response: GO STEELERS... GO STEELERS...GO STEELERS... *ahem* :-)
Yay! The Steelers won! Are you going to find a way to put it in the memos? That would be so cool! Also, ROFLMAO. Rodney's "I'm a dead man." was just so Rodney. I love it.
Author's Response: I'm trying to figure out how... :-)
I'm still hanging in there. Thanks for keeping it up. I'm not sure I could. I'm always too busy to write anything. So, kudos to you!
On a nit-pick note: I just watched a rerun of The Tower and in the end John says he turned the girl down. Which I can see because John doesn't seem the type to enjoy getting blindsided by a girl.
My nit-pick is: Has everyone forgotten that he turned her down or is it that no one believes him? 'Cause every thing I've read that tags this ep seems to go with the: John's-a-Kirk-and-he-hit-that-no-doubt-about-it angle. Just wondering.
Hee hee. Gotta love directness in a guy and Caldwell is surely that. This episode definitely gave me the impression that he likes Weir. Here John is going on about how they can play their cards and Caldwell pops in with the "Are you sleeping with her?" line. It's just what I would expect and the delivery makes me think he's a little too upset to be tactful about it. I can practically hear Caldwell's in that. Thanks for a good laugh.
Author's Response: I agree that Caldwell has a thing for Weir. He seemed a little too happy when she invited him to take a look at the funky pod. :-)
Summary: In which someone has a crush on Rodney...
Updated: 28 Oct 2005; Published: 10 Aug 2005
Oh, this is funny. I have to agree with Rodney about Celine. Most of the time, I can't stand her either. I have my moments for a couple of her songs but mostly she bugs me. A bald Kavanagh was just too hysterical. I love it. Can't wait to see what you have planned next.
Author's Response: If Hermiod had chosen a different singer he may have been in with a chance ;)
Summary: John likes to run. Ronon catches him.
This was written for the SV/SGA Flash Fiction Challenge for storydivagirl, her prompt was - Sheppard/Ronon banter is the only real request, the rest is up to the writer.

Just as John thought; that was... unexpected. Unexpected pairing - to me anyway - and unexpected that it was so hot. Usually I see fics where John gets to do the seducing. It was unbelievably sexy to see his tables turned and so forcifully. No games, just straight forward sex. I also thought Ronon's comment at the end was a nice touch. "Race you." Hee hee. It was great.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you gave it a try despite being a different pairing for you. I really see Ronon as a straightforward, no games kinda guy.
Summary: A look at the possible 'home' life of the Wraith. A little bloody and a little creepy.
Updated: 29 Jan 2006; Published: 29 Jan 2006
Cute. I assume the forebearer is one of those iratus bugs like the one that attacked John? Passing on the care of the forebearer to the new adult was a nice touch. And you used the term infant in relation to the Wraith... oohh, creepy. *shivers delightfully.* I'm sick, I know.
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you liked it in all its creepiness! Yes, the Forebearer is an Iratus Bug. JJ
Summary: Rodney's tired of not having sex since coming to the Pegasus Galaxy, and so he devises what he thinks is a cunning plan.

Great story! You got their personalities pegged! I could practically watch it in my mind. So cool! I think my favorite part was after John first kissed Rodney and said, "Well, you feeling gay now?"
Had me in stitches. And Rodney's response was so... so Rodney! I love first-time fics especially when they're done well and reading this was definitely a high point of my day. Thank you.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! First time stories are probably my favorite, because I really enjoy exploring how the boys would discover their feelings for each other. So glad you enjoyed. :)
Chapter 1: Queer as Some Folk

HOOOOOOOOT! The sex was nicely written! And Rodney babbling incoherently is so cute. I laughed my arse off when Ronon told him he wanted to have sex with him and that he was sure he was gonna love it. *fans self* So when's the next bit gonna be up?

I'm loving this so far. You can certainly spin an intricate and tense tale. I do have one problem. How are your family ties supposed to work? I got from this that Alex and Eric have the same mother and different fathers. Alex had said something about Eric's father giving their Mom the divorce. So if Eric's father let her go, presumably with Alex how can Alex be the older brother and still not be Eric's father's child and have the same Mom as Eric? I'm just curious, because the only way I can see it, is if their Mom had Alex by another man, married Eric's father, had Eric and then left Senior Kavanagh, leaving Eric with him, taking her son from a previous relationship with her and leaving Eric. But then how is it that Alex had only met the guy twice? Given the explanation I just outlined, Alex would've lived with him for a while. Unless, he was with other family members, like grandparents. But that's my point, though. It doesn't make sense easily, so I thought I'd ask about it. Sorry for the rant. Great story. I hope there's more soon.
Author's Response: I'm glad you're liking the story! I find I take too long to update though. *headdesk* Eric and Alex are actually stepbrothers. I think I only mentioned that once in passing, though. Eric's mother took him with her when she got divorced because his father wasn't in a position to care for them. She later married Alex's father. I can understand how you got confused. I never actually explained any of it, wanted to but it always feels wrong to me when a character spills their entire history in one go.

Aww man! just when I thought the boys were having a breakthrough, an understanding, you have to go and undo it. *whimpers* So of course I want more. :D At first I thought John and Rodney weren't really in character but after reading it awhile, I began to see glimpses of the personalities I know. It struck me then that these were the guys reacting to their situations. And given that, it's perfectly in character. So you have them spot on for how I would imagine them behaving given their circumstances. Rodney swallowing his pride and dignity for his family just as we know our Rodney to do for his team on Atlantis and John having enough care for Rodney to keep himself from being irreparably cruel. But he still has having enough self loathing to take it out on him thanks to the personality distorting effects of the sarcophagus. Being the hopeless romantic I am I keep hoping you'll find a way to end this on a happy note. I like to see my boys content. Personally I think Rodney will find it easier if he stops kidding himself. It's his own fear of wanting John or loving him that allows him to see the psycho so easily. He's twisted half of their encounters into bad memories himself because he's afraid. Which I love how you've written that. It took me a while to figure it out on my own, but they've both been hurting for a while now. It's great to finally Sheppard's part of it. I can't wait to see how they come to terms with each other. So update soon! Please?
Author's Response: Having an understanding takes time and patients, something Rodney does not have in abundance of. Someone else did comment that John and Rodney seemed bipolar, but again I needed to show them evolving and acting on their inner desires rather than have a chat over tea about their feelings. I think you\'re right that his fear of falling in love with John allows Rodney to see the psycho in John. The upcoming chapter will have a happy ending, but it will be the last one in the fic. oh, i know you will like the next upcoming chapter. The angst and fear is there as well as the love. Thank you so much for the long review. i hope to see you again at the next chapters!

There Rodney goes again! Twisting his encounter with Sheppard. Given all they've come into contact with he can't seem to fathom that there really is an alien device that turns normal people into monsters. And he can't fathom carter being like them. As smart as McKay is he's never considered that maybe Sheppard knows because the General found out first? But that would mean Carter's as duplicitous as Radek, Carson and Sheppard claim and Rodney thinks 'cause he screwed her he knows her better. Typical... So of course whatever happened to Sam has to somehow be Sheppard's fault. I get the feeling that Rodney won't be able to really appreciate what a sarcophagus can do until he's been killed and brought back once or twice himself. Maybe then he'll get it.
Author's Response: LOL! It is so funny to see you being frustrated by Rodney\'s actions. I hope the next chapter makes you happy with Rodney again. I am always stunned when folks read the fics word for word and don\'t just skip ahead to the good parts like I do. Everyone is welcome to drop me an email to receive sneak peaks of new chapter or to collaborate. Thank you for enjoying, Samara_Draven, and for liking it so much that you reviewed! Thanks for sticking with me. Until the next chapter!
