Okay, I'm female, 32 and live in Leicester, UK. Big fan of sci-fi in general and obviously Atlantis :). I'm also a huge slash fan. I'll read anyone with Sheppard...does that make me a Shepslut? I particularly like John/Carson and John/Rodney, and better yet John/Carson/Rodney mmmmm. Edited to add Radek...John/Radek or John/Radek in a threesome (or even foursome) with Carson or Rodney *vbg*.
Oh, and Lorne, as well ;).

Oh, this is all so very *Jack* :D. Though I particularly liked the line about several more corridors taking even more of his life. Definitely the way Jack would think about walking ;). And poor John and Rodney...such a poor cover up *g*. Laura.
Author's Response: Jack is one of those people who can quite easily take over a story. (Or a brain *grin*) He is far too much fun to write :-D
Summary: There are consequences with flight. (Canon minor character death in story.)
McKay/Sheppard/Beckett implied, McKay/Sheppard implied, Sheppard/Beckett, Stackhouse/Markham.

I liked the way you started and finished with Carson thinking about flying. The mental tally followed by the suggestive comments was nice, but I did feel the urge to shake the obliviousness out of Carson *g*. Poor Stackhouse though :(. STill, it did help get Carson with John and Rodney where he should be. Laura.
Author's Response: The mental tally, rather think he'd do that. Seems the type to be just a tad cautious to the point of obliviousness. *g* Rodney should have just shaken Carson, eh? And Stackhouse. *pats boy* I think I may write a bit for him. Heal that broken heart. Thank you!
Summary: You lose count, after awhile.

The second person pov really puts you in the story, and you've written the detached shock well too. I'd say this qualifies as different to your usual :). Laura.
Summary: The real reason nobody ever gets any sleep in Atlantis.

This is great. You've really captured each character and the things they worry about. I loved the ending...it looks like Beckett can stop worrying about Rodney quite so much :). Laura.
Author's Response: Yeah, I think Rodney's in good hands :)
Thanks for saying such lovely things!

Well, on the one hand you've got to feel a bit sorry for John; but on the other, he did bring it on himself. Still, we all know that Rodney doesn't *really* want whoever the woman was, don't we ;). Laura.
Poor Rodney, saying yes to help her out and getting no enjoyment out of it other than the physical pleasure, and now he's got to deal with that as well as John's mysterious reaction. Poor John too, having his heart broken. I hope they can get this sorted out quickly. Gotta say, poor Claire too, so desperate to forget her dead fiance, just for a little while. Laura.

Wow, straight in at the deep end with this! Poor John and Rodney *sniffle*. I really think you caught Rodney's thoughts well; and John *would* tell Rodney to stay away, protect him at all costs. They're both ok though right? Right? ::bites nails::. Laura.
Author's Response: Hee! Thanks *g* Ummm I haven't decided yet ;) *vbeg*
So, so glad that Teyla and Ford got them both back to Atlantis and that Rodney's recovering well. Not so glad to see John refusing to wake up, even if he does think there's no reason to after failing Rodney (although how he thinks he could have done anything to help Rodney, I don't know!). I really hope Rodney stops sitting patiently and gets on with bickering John awake. I really think that Rodney's voice is the only thing that will get through to John. Looking forward to the next part. Laura.

Hee hee, scary Radek *vbg*. Laura.
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm sure Radek's evil twin is out there, and Atlantis will never be safe. Bwa-ha-ha.
Chapter 1: Radek Zelenka, Mastermind

First evil Radek, and now evil Elizabeth :). Still, I can imagine Rodney going on and on about the new bed until Elizabeth was ready to shoot him, it's just a shame he dragged John down with him *vbg*. Laura.
Author's Response: I just had a thing for evil that day. I'm sure you understand. *g* And yes, Rodney went on and on and on, so Elizabeth got him exactly what he asked for. He really had no one to blame but himself.
And John's back really is a lot better now. No more muscle spams from sleeping in those weird postions.
Summary: John Sheppard has always been partial to green.
Updated: 02 Jul 2005; Published: 02 Jul 2005
Excellent. Yes, John definitely needs to add blue to his 'partial to' list ;). Laura.
Author's Response: *grin* I don't think John will have a problem with blue ;-)
Summary: So, just when will Sheppard and McKay jump into bed?
Updated: 02 Jul 2005; Published: 02 Jul 2005
*Hee*. Surely Elizabeth and co can't really believe that John and Rodney wouldn't find out about the pool? Not if there's coffee involved! *g*. Laura.
Author's Response: Especially not when Radek's helping them.
Updated: 02 Jul 2005; Published: 02 Jul 2005
Well, it's very nice not-quite-porn :). What a sight to come home to! ::drools:: Laura.
Author's Response: I know! I wouldn't mind coming home to that myself after a day at work ;-)
Summary: Because there has to be hope in dark places.

I love John's determination that they will survive the Wraith because he won't lose Rodney. I also loved his little plans, but I have to say that blunt would probably suit Rodney best even without imminant Wraith ;). Laura.
Author's Response: *grin* Blunt does seem to work best where Rodney is concerned, doesn't it.
Summary: Unashamed mini porn.
Updated: 02 Jul 2005; Published: 02 Jul 2005
Yay mini-porn...but wait, I'm having problems with 'mini'; it needs to be maxi-porn *vbg*. And yay, the L-word snuck in at the end ::grins::. Laura.
Author's Response: *grin* Mini-porn is fun ;-)
Summary: He only needs one thing in his life...
Updated: 02 Jul 2005; Published: 02 Jul 2005
Oh I like this one. It's hot, and I also liked John waiting until Rodney said he needed him. Laura.
Author's Response: Because you know John will move heaven and earth to give Rodney what he needs :-D
Summary: It wasn't the fact that you could speak to the city. It was the fact that the city spoke back.
Updated: 02 Jul 2005; Published: 02 Jul 2005
Excellent again. I'm always intrigued by just how much Atlantis actually connects with ATA carriers, and John particularly. This was a nice look at that, but also a great look into Rodney's mind and his changing thoughts regarding John. Laura.
Author's Response: I like the thought of Atlantis 'talking' back. I think she's so much more than just a city :-)
Summary: It takes both of them to bring her back to life.
Updated: 02 Jul 2005; Published: 02 Jul 2005
Is this a follow on from 'Murmurs'? It *so* could be as it expands splendidly on both the ATA/Atlantis thing and the John/Rodney thing :). Laura.
Author's Response: It wasn't planned to be a follow on, but you're right, they do read as those they could be from the same universe :-D
Summary: Resistance is futile...
Updated: 02 Jul 2005; Published: 02 Jul 2005
Heh, slasher!Elizabeth *vbg*. Well, you would have to peek wouldn't you?...What?...Don't look at me like that! ;). Laura.
Author's Response: Not only would I peek, I'd take pictures. And video ;-)
Summary: The days tick by...

My, you've certainly been busy! And you've run the gammut of emotions, finishing with this angsty one. It's sad, but *so* plausible, to see Rodney barely able to rest and pushing himself so hard, while John can't really do anything about it :(. Laura.
Author's Response: I didn't realise how many bits there were until I post them. I actually think this one's my favourite, although I do feel for John in it.
