I know it's incredibly unlikely that you'll ever find the time to finish this, but I just wanted to say that I really enjoy what there is of this story. Even though it's a WIP, it's one of those fics I return to when I need a little fannish pick-me-up. :)

Summary: John looks a little desperate and frightened, and Rodney has never, ever wanted to make John do something he doesn't want to. But it isn't any other night, and John needs to let go as much as Rodney needs to see him let go. There are lines of stress tightening the corners of John's eyes and mouth, more shadows than the low lighting can account for in his eyes.

John wasn't really sure why he was walking down to the botany labs. It probably had something to do with Lorne and his stories about the crazy botanist on his team. Well, Lorne didn't actually say Parrish was crazy, that was something John took away from their conversations. And by conversations John definitely meant Lorne's retellings of the crazy shit that happened to his team.

Oh god, poor John. I hope David can make all this pain worth it for him.
