My stories all live in the same universe as each other and as much as possible in the same universe as the television series. The first three stories take place in Season One in the following order: "Underneath", then "The Sound of Color", then "Descent". "Inside Out" takes place in Season Two and is a direct sequel to "The Sound of Color", and because it is part of that series, is listed as a second "chapter" of "Sound of Color"

"Eleven" is the third story (also listed as a "Chapter") in the "Sound of Color" Trilogy and takes place later in Season Two.

Since this is ostensibly "sci-fi", every story has a different science-based theme and I have worked hard to research the facts to make the stories as believable as possible, with the information I had from the show at the time I wrote the story. So you can get a satisfying sci-fi experience out of each story, rather than just random 'ship. At least that is my goal.

"Underneath" is written much in the style of an episode and is action-based. There is a tinge of McKay/Weir 'ship which I hope makes sense in the flow of the story.

"The Sound of Color" and "Inside Out" are more drama than action and are both definitely Sheppard/Weir 'ship fics. Both feature the Weir/Sheppard/McKay character trinity with a healthy helping of Carson Beckett for good measure.

"Eleven" is more Weir/Sheppard 'ship (with a dash of Teyla/Ronon for fun) that still plays with the friendship between Sheppard and McKay and has more action and reads more like an episode, which is also fun. I think.

"Descent" has a bit of everything: action, mystery, teamwork, science and... more action (just wait 'til chapter 9!). There is a lot of Sheppard/McKay banter and angst on everyone's part since a fair amount of whomping occurs as the team struggles to solve the mystery. No overt 'ship in this one, but there are a few hints here and there.

All stories are PG. Have fun! ;-)

Bravo. This is by far the best Atlantis fic I've ever read. You really captured the relationship between John and Rodney, and you had the character voices to a tee. I also enjoyed the premise of the story. Very clever. Thanks for a satisfying read!

Author's Response: Thank you.
