I love to read fic, but I never write it. I enjoy leaving feedback if I feel the story was worth the read. I don't flame people, that's just being a jerk. Also, people who leave comments that consist entirely of "this word is misspelled" irritate me. How is that constructive?! If you understood what they meant to type then why bother mentioning it? My apologies for ranting.
Summary: Atlantis needs a Rodney McKay. They just don't know that yet.
The warnings are here mostly for safety. This story is darker than my usual fare, but I still firmly believe in the happy ending. There is the death of a major AU character off-screen.
I really don't like death fics, but for some reason I just had to read this one, and I loved it. I melted with the line about family:
""Remember, no children here," Rodney pointed at himself. / "I'd name one of mine after you, and make you Godfather to a couple as well. You'd have family as long as there was a Beckett alive," Carson promised."

Author's Response: It was a story that wouldn\'t get out of my head until I put it on paper. I really appreciate you taking the time to review, and believe me, I made myself cry writing this one.
Summary: The Guys and Sam get stuck underground with no means of escape, with little food they must wait for the Daedalus, only it's late, very late, and times running out for McKay.
I adored this fic! I love the connection between John and Rodney and that Sam finally realized Jack and Daniel have something. Having John torment the guys was mean, but really funny. Wonderful job!

Summary: Events send McKay truly adrift, as he is faced taking on the universe to save the man he loved from the people ears trying to protect: Earth.
