Let's see, what can I tell you about myself. I'm 33 and live in Pittsburgh. I'm a primary care doc by training, a psychiatrist by inclination, and I do research in both. Dr. Dredd was a nickname given to me during medical school. I'm not sure if it was meant to be complimentary, but I use it with pride anyway!
If it's not already obvious,I've liked the doctor characters on the sci-fi shows, from Leonard McCoy in the first Star Trek to Julian Bashir in DS9 to Janet Frasier in SG-1. And last but definitely not least, Carson Beckett. I try to write stories where I can get into the characters' heads. This often leads to both physical and psychological whumping. All in a good cause.
I love dogs. All shapes and all sizes, and I'm especially a sucker for puppies. I grew up with two bichon frises, and am dying to get another one now that I have my own place. Unfortunately, the landlord of the building where I live doesn't allow dogs. So I'm now looking to move! Stay tuned.
Summary: Under a direct order, Ford confesses why he was upset after their visit to MSS224.

Aww, this was cute!
Author's Response: Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Chapter 1: That's An Order
Summary: All times of great conflict are artistically rich. The Statesman has often been the Poet.
For Robert Davi, who wanted an 'evildoer with poetry'.

I agree with Canadian_snoopy. This definitely tantalizes. For instance, how did Rodney and Kolya wind up traveling together. It would make a great longer story, but it's also good if you just keep it as a single snapshot into their lives.
Summary: "It wasn't your fault," Rodney said. [Contains spoilers for Siege III.]

Summary: Set in a future season. Carson tries to be Elizabeth's friend in the absence of Rodney, and back at the SGC things aren't running quite as smoothly as usual, and Carter knows why.

I like the idea of a Carson/Elizabeth friendship, with possibly something more developing. It's a pairing we don't see very much of. Besides, you know I'll take any excuse for more Carson fics!
Chapter 1: Lost In A Crowd
Summary: "All right, Colonel, what did you do?" (post-Intruder fic with spoilers)
Updated: 31 Jul 2005; Published: 31 Jul 2005
First off, hope the chef knows about Rodney and lemons, or he's going to get an earful. ;-) Secondly, I love John's devious streak!
Summary: Elizabeth has decided to create a bulletin board for the posting of important notices. This series of ficlets, drabbles, and other madness is the result.

A very good thing, indeed!
Yes, but can Zelenka curse people out in Asgard? ;-)
Summary: John thinks about the events that brought him to Atlantis. A series of episode-related POVs by Orithain & Rina, some looking at the same events from both perspectives, some with completely different takes on the episodes.

A movie ratings talk show? That's awesome! Although with Rodney on it, they'd probably get multiple obscenity citations from the FCC. *grins* I'm looking forward to the whole season.
Author's Response: LOL I think Rodney would be too busy telling everyone all the things that were wrong in and with the movie to bother swearing. And then he'd lecture us on better uses of our time. Good thing he has John to distract him in Altantis. ;) And John will be more and more of a distraction as the season goes on.
Chapter 1: Atlantis Rising: John
Ouch! It makes sense that they weren't entirely sure if Rodney was invulnerable, and throwing him off the balcony was really ballsy!
Chapter 3: Hide and Seek: John
Summary: Sam has a sick sense of humor, John doesn't fish, Teal'c watches QVC, Rodney never did see the end of The Sixth Sense, Elizabeth says 'We are not amused', Daniel ate the cookies and Jack is bored. (Co-Written with Auburn)

Oh, this was wonderful! Loved all of the Atlantis crew, especially Elizabeth grabbing the vodka and running with it. Carter is evil -- I loved the line about how she really must love Rodney or she would have nuked him.
Summary: Things are different in Atlantis. Ultra-mild spoilers for season 2 through 'runner'. POV is a season 2 character.

Oh, that's funny. Particularly when Lorne makes fun of Beckett and McKay. (And the part about bringing the laptop into the bathroom -- beats a magazine!)
Author's Response: Oh, it so totally beats a magazine. *g* Thanks!
Summary: Radiation has a few consequences. Tag for S2's Intruder.

Somehow I missed the second part of this. Wonderful story, with great character interactions!
Summary: "Seriously, who taught you to kiss?" Spoilers for Duet.

Evil Carson! But really good story.
Summary: SGA/SG-1 crossover: Every day brings a new beginning. For Samantha Carter, her new beginning is in Atlantis.

I miss Janet. I don't know why the writers felt they had to shake things up, but such is life, I guess.
This was a very sweet story, and a good characterization of both Sam and Teyla.
Author's Response: Thank you very much for your review. I also think that Janet got short shrift in how she was written off the show. Plus, given the closeness of her friendship with Sam, I expected a little more in the way of introspection.
Although I can't bring Janet back in this little universe, I could at least let Sam mourn and move on.
Thanks again.
Summary: Not all relationships start with a bang. Some take time and a lot of patience (and the occasional intervening friend)

Poor Carson. You know what they say about paybacks... :-)
Good start to the series. I'm looking forward to seeing more.
Author's Response: Hey, he volunteered his ass for that mission. [g]. Sometimes you're willing to take a short amount of additional pain to ward off a long, lingering, humilitating pain/illness, you know. :) Glad you liked the story.
Chapter 1: A Pain in the Ass
I really like this particular pairing, probably because not too many people write about it. And you do a seriously great job. The characterization of both men is spot on. Lastly, I just wanted to say that I would definitely listen to Carson reading the phone book! :-)
Author's Response: It's a *sorely* under-represented pairings. More people need to be doing something about that. ;) I'm glad you like what I'm doing with them. They're fun to write. :) And yeah, that wasn't me projecting much. Not at all.
Chapter 3: A Slip of the Tongue (part A)
Heh. I always thought med school/residency was like being indoctrinated into a cult. No sleep, not much food, loud beeping noises at irregular intervals, and the constant message that your senior resident is God! :-) Good chapter.
Chapter 7: Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes
Summary: It was the kiss. Duet tag.

I don't think I've ever seen you write slash before, but I like it! I definitely know what Laura means when she says the cute ones are clueless. ;-)
Author's Response: Aren't they really? ;) Glad you like it; slash is something I indulge in now and again and I just love this pairing so I couldn't just let it be...*g*.
Summary: In which someone has a crush on Rodney...

"Caldwell tried to lock you into a closet?" Hah! Good one.
Author's Response: *grin*
I love it! "Taking woo them with flowers off the list." Hah! Poor Hermiod.
Author's Response: It's hard not to feel sorry for Hermiod *grin*
