Summary: Sam has a sick sense of humor, John doesn't fish, Teal'c watches QVC, Rodney never did see the end of The Sixth Sense, Elizabeth says 'We are not amused', Daniel ate the cookies and Jack is bored. (Co-Written with Auburn)
I probably would have never found or read this fic if I hadn't seen it recced at sgagenrefics.I just love the idea of John receiving a care package from sg-1. What a nice thing to do for poor all alone john. I swear I almost teared up. And I'm glad sam wasn't too mean to rodney lol
Summary: Six months ago he had a moment of weakness, well, actually Samantha Carter had a moment of weakness and they'd spent a lovely evening together. (Inspired by an icon)
Summary: John worries that Rodney is going to break up with him and so has a little chat with Jeannie about what could have his boyfriend all in a tizz.
loved how both john and rodney were so insecure b/c they don't talk! And I do have a thing for fics where rodney is insecure b/c he compares himself to john and how someone that goodlooking couldn't ever want to be with him. That line where Jeannie says 'Well, how do I put this? Physically, you're no John Sheppard.' in Miller's Crossing was a real zinger. thanks
I just reviewed the 1st in your series and I have so much love for this one, too. 7 and 8 are adorable and so protective of each other. idk Cameron Mitchell well b/c I've seen very few eps. of SG-1, but 7/John was so him. Protective, but unable to trust and show his "feelings". I love how you put their traits (I assume Mitchell's) into those little robots. And gawd Evan taking care of them and teaching them! I loved it when he played ball with them and read The Brave Little Toaster. And he was so patient with them esp. Shep when they became humanoids. I just laugh thinking how 7 became Evan's C.O later on.
Summary: "You knew he was married before, right McKay?" Rodney really wishes he could have gone back to Earth with John. Spoilers for Season 4 "Outcast".
I loved this and it makes me wonder what it was like for all of the long time fans to find out John's background. I came along just in time to see Vegas *live* and then saw all eps. completely out of order via scyfy's marathon/netflix.
Author's Response: It jossed a lot of stories, that\'s for sure! However, I came to fandom late as well and was always writing at least 2 years behind the episodes. There\'s some advantage to that! I\'m pleased you enjoyed it--thank you!
Summary: Rodney McKay can't lie. He really can't. He's lost entire fortunes playing poker because he can't keep from giving himself away.
So when he lies and tells his sister that he and John Sheppard are involved--he and the very straight John Sheppard--you know things are going to go terribly, horribly wrong.
just loved this. hit my love for pining!rodney who could never believe john could want him and be pining, too. All are really IC which is so impt. to me. thanks
Author's Response: Thanks. I\'m glad you liked the story. :) Thanks for the review.
Summary: Rodney's assistants fluctuated on a monthly basis, no-one really stayed long with him, and it had been ages since he had gotten anyone good-looking – though, brains were more important than looks. Mostly the people they sent him though were morons finishing their thesis. Not like he'd start anything with a co-worker. Absolutely not. Well ... maybe, depending on how said co-worker saw the issue.
Summary: Sometimes, Rodney is better entertainment than a thousand dancing bears. For one thing, bears don't communicate their displeasure at having their very important power-flow simulations interrupted by throwing whiteboard markers at your head.
