Female. Twenties. Picky. Loud on paper. Rude (attempts to restrain). Praise on spur of the moment. Addicted to good writing.
Endearments like 'babe' or 'baby' and the excessive use of exclamation marks is frowned upon. Overt drama is mocked and should anyone use psychology which I can't explain or excuse I will 'gently hint' at my displeasure.
Will beta read at your own risk. First language not English.... at least didn't use to be
Beta-reader: Yes
Summary: There are some things that not even the closest friendship can weather... and some feelings we forever regret admitting. [Kolya/Athos UST, has hints of future Kolya/McKay, written for Fanfic 100 prompt #001 - Beginnings.]

Wonderfully written and I liked how you built so much on one sentence from the storm. Admit it, your brain is made of the same awesome that makes up chocolate, kittens and things that go boom.
Author's Response: *blushes* Thank you! I\'m glad you enjoyed it. I had a lot of fun writing this one (angst-tastic though it is) because I had so much scope to come up with backstory. Plus, the Genii always need more love. *g*
Summary: Because I
like fairy tales, and other people like fairy tales, so why not re-write them? Ratings may vary.

Your story is pure undiluted love. I love fairytales and I am swiftly becoming enamored with your portrayal of them. Thank you love, for sharing.
Chapter 6: Socks and Keys and Stuff (and John)
Summary: Radek's most difficult match. Story by lillyjk. Artwork by newkidfan. (graphic novel made for the artword challenge at LJ)

*Leaves at your feet a small hoard of chocolate, coffee and love letters*
Summary: Carson liked the restaurant and he absolutely loved the food. He just wasn't sure about the chef.

This is the second time I've read the story. I must admit the time in between spans in years but the tale remains intriguing. So this is a nod to you and a sign that someone has read and liked it enough to let you know. I commend you on your style.
Author's Response: Oh wow! It always such a lovely surprise to get feedback on an old fic. I\'m thrilled to hear it has weathered the test of time. Thank you so much for taking the time to drop me a comment - totally cheered up my evening :)
Chapter 1: Simple Pleasures
Summary: Atlantis cracks a joke, then communicates with Rodney. (Crackfic!)
Updated: 18 Aug 2006; Published: 18 Aug 2006
You are a god. Maybe a minor deity but one none the less. You just created the earth and sky. We are not worthy.
Chapter 2: Atlantis Subtext
Summary: "I don't get it. You have an entire city that loves you--and I mean loves you. It wants you to be happy and healthy and have whatever you want. And how is this bad, exactly?"
Updated: 29 Oct 2006; Published: 27 Oct 2006
This is wonderful. I'd say 'marry me' but I'm not much for commitment. So I'll just stare adoringly at your pen-name.
Summary: Radiation. That was the big one, echoing through his brain, bouncing from one part of his skull to the other.
He'd possibly freaked out a little, okay maybe more than a little, because
Rodney was the calm and cool voice offering reasonable statistics about
radiation and there was something really fucked up about that.

This was was very lol educing. Thanks for sharing. *smirk*
Summary: McKay has a fatal accident... but doesn't really die.
Updated: 15 Mar 2007; Published: 15 Mar 2007
The idea itself is awesome but I must say your writing style is not something I can overcome. Was not able to finish. Everyone was out of character (acted like 14 year old girls).
Summary: The events of The Competition, from the point of view of the one and only 'Atlantis Marine Corps'. Contains possible Casting Spoiler for Season 4, and Spoilers for all Three Seasons.

Wonderful concept. Nicely written. Gave my brain something to nom on.
Summary: A twenty year old John Sheppard goes to a music festival and meets a young man named Rodney. Much angst and smut follows...
Updated: 13 Jun 2007; Published: 12 Jun 2007
Cute. A bit too lovey dovey but well put together and pleasant to read.
Chapter 4: Epilogue - 2007
Summary: Rodney doesn't know how to do this alone anymore.
Updated: 24 Jul 2010; Published: 24 Jan 2008
Your way with words does *pornographic* things to my brain. Very nicely painted darkness. Would shamelessly beg for continuation if I thought it would do any good.
Chapter 4: Unmovable Regard
Summary: Their mission to Olesia(Season 2, Condemned)has a lasting effect.
Updated: 06 Feb 2008; Published: 05 Feb 2008
I hope you don't screw like you write.
Summary: When Elizabeth is captured by The Beast, John goes to Atlantis to offer himself and escape marriage to Kolya's niece.
This is (almost) pure Disney!

*Loses mind gigging over the following intro sentence*
'Ashamed of his monstrous form, The Beast concealed himself inside his castle, with just a few of his favourite laptops, several satellites, a few MALPs, deep space sensors, lots of coffee and chocolate'
Good stuff.
Author's Response: Yay - someone else got one of my favourite lines! It made me giggle when I was writing it! Thank you very much (and sorry - I\'ve only just seen this!)
Summary: It was going to take more than a pair of ruby slippers to get them home this time. It was going to take all his ingenuity, a lot of careful plotting and some of John's infamous luck...

This was awesome. It nicely filled in the hole that had been irking me in the show: How the hell did they get to be that close in the second episode. Thanks.
Author's Response: thank you so much! I\'m so pleased that you liked my little story. I have to admit the whole in the plot really irked me too, and I decided to do something about it. :-)
Summary: "Out there," McKay whispered miserably, jerking his chin up. "It hurts everywhere."

I liked the reality you constructed. Feel free to make many more. I'll be sure to visit.
Summary: John didn't have anything against huddling up, per se. It was just that his team seemed determined to make him huddle up to Rodney.

Read and liked. Cute. Like your way with words.

Oh, I definitely like this.
I hereby file a request form for more. Lots more. Seriously stretch this out as far as you can. Your storyline and writing style are candy to my brain. Not just candy but chocolate. Delicious yummy chocolate.
*not worthy bows*
Summary: Lord John Sheppard was no stranger to the business of murder, but he'd hardly expected to find it on a weekend in the country. But murder it was, and what's more, Rodney McKay was the prime suspect. Can John find the real murderer and, in the process, prove McKay's innocence? Time is running out, and he'll need all of his famous sleuthing skills – and McKay's help – to keep the man he's falling in love with from the hangman's noose.

I have no previous acquaintance with Lord Whimsy but another character of the same era has found it's absentminded way into my heart and I identify the writing style with him rather than that of Sayers. As they both found their feet in the 30's, I recognize Jeeves & Wooster by Wodehouse, with his gentleman's personal gentleman being a marvel and coughing like a miffed sheep on a distant hillside, should his master stray from what he thinks fitting for a gentleman of his stature.
Not that that's a bad thing. But if one has the fortune(?) of being a member of both fandoms the results just tend to distract from the story. Overall very well put together. The only real issues I have objections against are the unrestrained proclamations of eternal love early into the story. I find their openness about their feelings regarding each other should have been more restrained due to their deviances earning them two years of hard labor should anyone raise complaint. Maybe they should have started off easy with proclamations of unexpected affections? Just more caution should be exercised under those circumstances, since neither man is a fool or can possibly be ignorant of the law.
Overall a nice tale and a pleasant read. I find myself looking forward to another foray in to a world of your construction.
