I absolutely loved this, it was amazing. Did it ever get finished? Was it continued? I so want to find out what happened to the 3 of them.

This is a beautiful story. A really lovely slow progression of Rodney and John's journey from friends to lovers. Incredibly hot too.

Wow! That was exquisitely painful. I was literally sobbing with Rodney when he was in the street shouting for Sheppard.
The whole story is such a powerful piece of writing and executed with intelligence, sensitivity and confidence.
The horror aspect of the story was truly horrific but I'm glad you didn't step back and protect the reader from it by fudging the details because it truly gave depth and reason to the amount of recovery Rodney needed to do emotionally and physically.
You took the reader on a painful, emotionally charged and ultimately exhilarating journey of discovery.

Summary: Another mission-gone-south isolates Rodney and John from the rest of the team. Forced to search for an Ancient outpost, they struggle to keep each other alive until the time their kidnappers prepare to sacrifice the one and purify the other (set at some generic point after The Hive).

This story is so textured and evocative you get totally immersed and I found myself getting annoyed with people for interrupting my reading.
A must read.
