Um, hello. *waves*
I'm a woman (*snort* DUH); am over 30 (so you can't trust me *snicker*); married and am a mom; work as a professional picture framer at an art restoration shop in the Washington DC area; worship at the altar of Heinlein, Asimov, Arthur C. Clarke, Stephen King, Spider Robinson, Piers Anthony, Christopher Stasheff, Marion Zimmer Bradley as well as Ursula Le Guinn and other awesome literary gods. *BG*
An example of how weird I am? I love to read psychology and psychiatry medical research papers on ADHD and emotional disorders... FOR FUN. Okay, okay, for personal edification as well, but still... *snicker* I haven't had much time to read my journals lately though, as the writing bug has firmly latched onto my jugular (like a certain pesky Iratus bug we dare not mention around Sheppard *snort*), and is not allowing me any other avenues of self-expression at the moment. *sobs* My poor PhotoShop is feeling SO neglected!
As for other entertainment, I can only say that my early development was heavily influenced by Looney Tunes and Monty Python's Flying Circus. And Douglas Adams. You ever listen to the Hitchhiker's Guide radio series? Bloody friggin' brilliant, m'dears.
Fell in love with SGA even before I'd ever once watched an episode of SG1, would you believe? Anywho, I'm not a proliferate writer by any stretch of the imagination, although the stories I do write end up being pretty long. I'm an avid reader of all kinds of stories... het, slash and gen... and am unabashedly a whumpaholic. *BEG* Especially when it concerns Rodney McKay. What can I say? I'm hopelessly addicted to the man. ;) And as much as I love reading slash, I am unfortunately way too scared to ever write it. Sorry folks. I tend to limit myself to staying within the general parameters dictated in the show. Hey, I wanna be a scriptwriter someday! Maybe. If I don't suck grandly at it. *BG*
Oh, and PS - if you check out the people I've on my favorite authors list, you won't be disappointed. I chose them because I love every single story they've ever written. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. Go. Read. They're brilliant. :)

Oh man. I sure hope John made sure Bates had a security team monitoring the infirmary before he and the others left for the moon base.
And CRAP! Why didn't John shake Rodney out of his little bubble world to make sure he understood what John was doing before sitting in the blasted chair?!
Now, watch Rodney try to get to John and get electrocuted (or something equally nasty) from some sort of automated defenses...
More soon? Please?
Wonderful story.

Summary: Very dark AU future fic. Sheppard, Weir and McKay are back on Earth and not well.
Updated: 19 Mar 2005; Published: 19 Mar 2005
God dammit, I want to know what happened that the three of them had left Atlantis and the others behind, and what happened to everyone else?
Gripping and heart-wrenching, the pain those three were feeling.

*snickersnort* And who would ever agree to bear their children for them? Hmmmm?
*chortle*
Oh yeah, a tierd up and gagged Rodney would be SO yummy!
Pass the chocolate syrup, please. *VBEG*
----}-@
Krys
Author's Response: A tied and gagged Rodney is definitely yummy. /hands you chocolate syrup/ Just don't get the syrup in John's hair. He gets cranky when that happens. Thank you for the comments. I'm glad you had fun iwth the story.
Chapter 1: Put a Sock In It
Summary: With the Wraith coming for Atlantis, Rodney finds his thoughts turning to the passing of time and the ways in which we perceive it...

*happy sigh*
Now, I hope you're typing away, lassie. ;)
Exquisite continuation of the story. And yuppers, I'm just a squishy sentimentalist deep inside, too. *chuckle*
Wonderfully written. I'd love to crawl inside Rodney's head and see everything. The just give him a big ol' hug and kiss. But I'll leave those last two things to John. :)
----}-@
Krys
Author's Response: Well, not right now but I am trying to get some time to finish this up. Hopefully soon. :) And thank you once again for the awesome review. Heh, sometimes I want to do that too but then I remember John will always be around to do that. *g*
Chapter 4: Carousel Revolution
*very happy sigh*
Oh god, please let there be more soon? I can't tell you how much I friggin LOVE this story.

Krys
Author's Response: :D I'm glad you enjoy it. I'm not sure when the next chapters will be out. Five and Six were written in 2 days and I need a rest after that marathon. lol. But hopefully they'll be completed soon.
Summary: Kavanagh dwells on his plans for job advancement on Atlantis, and his hatred for Rodney McKay.
Updated: 22 Mar 2005; Published: 22 Mar 2005
Wow. You gotta wonder if Kavanagh or any of the other scientists (or even one of the soldiers) will snap at some point... and take it out on Rodney or John.
*BEG*
Excellent job.

Summary: Rodney's not trying to be the hero
Updated: 23 Mar 2005; Published: 23 Mar 2005
Heh. Lovely job. I felt a bit disconnected from Rodney through the end, though. Not sure why exactly. Also, what about his ribs? And all the poking with needles and crap? ANd what was that alien doing ot him when it took Rodney out of the cell?
Who WAS that masked alien? ;) Were they woken up because Rodney took the ZedPM? Were they the "Gods" that the natives had spoken about? If so, maybe that explains why the D'hallens were pretty much naked all the time. Easier for scaly aliens to do their weird little probes...

Wow, I can only hope that being with John helps Rodney stop with the self-mutilation. He doesn't need it any more. Not in Atlantis. Not with John.
Excellent, as always, hon.

Hmmm. Rodney should bring John back to Atlantis, and they could put the Major in Steve's cell.
Man oh man, what is up with the possessed sword? Surprised the Ancients didn't destry it... unless the did, and they couldn't. Which is not a good thing for our John...
