Summary: In the aftermath of Arcturus, Rodney deals with John's loss of trust. Then John has to deal with the loss of Rodney. *not a deathfic!!!*

waaah! no! no no no, you can't stop here! what happens next? how does it go on? *wail* i so love the way you're dealing with both characters, especially the easy acceptance rodney found with his new team and john's one step too close to insanity. the scene where john is able to relax just because he's in rodney's presence was also really beautiful, and i liked the shift at the end where rodney misunderstands and john plunges right into desperation. which is why you can't. STOP. here. dammit.

Author's Response: I know, I'm sorry. I hadn't planned to be so mean, but I totally didn't take into account the admins actually wanting time off for the holidays. Stupid, I know, but at least I'll have time to really knock the next chapter out of the park....I hope!

Summary: Rodney claimed he would have figured it out eventually, that he was a genius, and it was only a matter of time and - if case John hadn't noticed - he'd been a little busy saving Atlantis from imminent doom of one sort or another, so excuse the hell out of him if he wasn't actually aware that the head of Atlantis's military was pining away with big gay love for him.

aww, poor john! *snicker* i imagine that must be pure torture. and you write it so fabulously. i can practically see him squirming on his seat. ;)

this was so, so hot. seriously. and i absolutely love the way you handled rodney in this, completely overwhelming john without giving him time to catch himself. and did i mention this was hot? i mean, whoa. *blush*
